I swear that's the truth, I don't exactly have a tack record of making stuff up and I don't necessarily feel the need to bit to your wumming, so why would I lie?

Anyway, it's not as though it's crazy talk for him to see you as a "stagnant" move, not necessarily a step backwards but not a step forwards either. Let's be honest, last time you went up it was a disaster, and now you're going up with the same manager and a very similar squad (now minus a couple of big players). You're red hot favourites to come straight back down in most people books, and you're getting rid of your best players which isn't helping. Maybe he wants a move that will guarantee him Championship football for the long term future at least, rather than just a one year stint with next seasons whipping boys, only to be playing in the same league as Franchise FC again in a years time.

Why must every season be the same as the last one at that level?

I'm guessing it's because in League 1 you were a big team, expected to do well with the best players in the league. Now in the Championship you are selling your best players, replacing them with inferior players, and everyone expects you to come back down with a bang.

There's not much happening with this site, it's a bit dead if the truth be known....but you lot seem to like it and you used to be game for a laugh, but defeat has obviously changed your attitudes towards life....
