He is good but can miss some easy chances. However, he is better than Torres at the moment, so if he keeps up his form he would be a good replacement
Drogba was a beast against Valencia, but against City, Spurs, Wolves he disappeared for large parts of the game. Which is why i said he turns up when he wants too. He needs to be got rid of as his heart isn't full in it anymore and i get the impression he wants to leave too. If Torres is rubbish still by the end of the season then he can go too and we rebuild from there
TLLL
I agree about Adebayor, he's always had the talent and now that he's mellowed out that his true ability is showing. We really can't go wrong with him. The only problems I see will be his age plus he's going to be around 30m.
Man City got him for 25m so they will most likely sell him for less. Plus he is not needed at the club. Also he is the same age as Torres.

110% agreed mate!

Where did you get 40m from??
Thought he did well yesterday
Ba>badboyor>odemwingie>ayegbeni>torres
Drogba is past his best and his performance against Wigan was just dreaful but he has been good in more games than just Valencia and he always looks more of a threat than Torres.
Right now I doubt there is one defender in the EPL who would prefer to play against Drogba rather than Torres.
I would take Odenwingie if it weren't for age
If they sold Carrol for 35m they will surely want more for Ba. But I would love to see Ba at Chelsea. I am just saying that Adebayor is one of the only cheap options available as the rest will cost over 30m.
Torres was reasonable yesterday, but people are so desperate for the lad that a reasonable Torres performance gets lauded as a great performance.
I think it was more a case that he was the best of a bad bunch
Torres i mean, always tries but always missing, we can't go on like this, we need goals to get points

Torres is cursed.
He will play a blinder in Jan then get injured for a year and return playing awful. heard it here first
There should be a striker somewhere in one of the European leagues we could pick up for less than 20m who can do a job...I'm just not sure who
It's just a shame a scouts never seem to find us such players to buy or when they do, the hierarchy is not willing to follow suit.

Maybe, but they won't get it. Carroll is young, English and over-rated, and therefore priced accordingly.
If sturridge, mata, ramires have all been missing like torres where would we be right now

His name is Ricky van wolfswinkel
But yup Luiz and Torres were the best of a bad bunch
Sorry to sound like a broken record but I maintain Ba would cost less than £20million Lucas Barrios has said he might move in January who was a major part of Drtmund's success last year and has been their top scorer past 2 seasons. Same age as Torres. He also worth a move? There's also Matri at Juventus who has been doing well on the whole. They seem interested in Drogba/Alex- swap deal? Moussa Sow has always been banging in goals at Lille. Or maybe someone a bit different - Lisandro Lopez from Lyon? Similar player to Tevez and Suarez. Maybe not as good but is still a good footballer
