true,
I think if you had of brought in Jan before you probably would or at least had a better chance of getting more titles, this time i think its a bit different scenario as you need to secure top 4 position, 4 clubs fighting for 2 spots, yes i still think Liverpool are in it at the moment, but we need to buy a striker or 2 as well as we are pants in front of goal.
Haven't seen much of henry of late but he will def add to your squad in the fact he is an ex player and knows the club and will give 100% commitment, and as you said he will keep defense on their toes with his threat up front .
Daily mail is reporting he's signed or has been offered to sign for two months? that would include 7 PL games one FA cup and the first leg of AC Milan
I think getting Henry on board is a great bit of business, a top pro and a lift for the fans. But personally I'm a bit more excited about Per urging Podolski to come, I think he is a top quality an versatile player.
We nearly always get someone in in January.
Reyes, Adebayor, Arshavin, Sol Campbell are just a few of the January signings over the last few seasons.
So that kind of destroys the first sentence of the article!!
Since joining Arsenal in January 2006, Diaby has made 160 appearances for the club.
That equates to just over 26 appearances per season.
That's appearances, not starts.
I think Henry would be more of a boost than Podolski. For one thing, nobody knows how Podolski would adapt, whereas Henry is tried and true in the Premier League. Besides which, Podolski, although a great player, is still just another player, whereas Henry is an Arsenal legend. All he has to do is set foot on the field on 60 or 70 minutes or so, and the crowd atmosphere changes completely.
It doesn't matter if he's older now - old players never lose their touch. If there was one older player who I'd wish to have cryogenically frozen and brought back for the occasional game, it would be Bergkamp, and he was never really young when he was with us.

trouble is, he's now 34, and has lost his key attribute, his pace.
His skill is worth more than his pace. Remember the wondergoal he scored against United - he didn't even move, just received the ball, flicked it into the air, then turned and lobbed Barthez. He's like Bergkamp in that respect.
RVP is young, and through injury has lost a yard or so, but that hasn't stopped him this year.
Always a Gunner (U7130)
i dont think Wenger will bother with him tbh with you.
