Sorry, but this is a farce He can fruck off if these reports are true.

85k per week my Arsenal He's not done remotely enough to vindicate that much money

Y'know Walcott's made laugh this season. He's become more vocal now. All that childish innocence out the window.
He think he's a badass. Instead, football is one of the things he's bad at. Get it? Get it?

Come on guys; we're basis this on one of the worst article I've ever seen. How this Harry Pratt is a journalism, I will never know.

He doesn't even have the decency to put "an inside source" for the love of god

Lastly, who are we to judge how much a player should get. I'm sure we'll offer him how much we think he's worth.

We didn't break the bank for Nasri and I'm sure we won't for Theo.

It's like when Sandy in Grease goes from high school sweetheart to a mean girl in a leather jacket..

Kinda.

Tbf I didn't read the article. Just wanted to lash out at Walcott after yesterday's miss.

"We didn't break the bank for Nasri and I'm sure we won't for Theo."

I'm surprised Walcott even gets paid.

Very true.

Walcott needs to chill out.

Needs to be on contract linked to his contribution to the team.

At the moment it would be just a tad more than job seekers allowance.

Watching the highlights on MOTD I had to laugh at his clueless attempts on the ball.

He and Lampard should not be taken to Euro 2012. It's a real farce if they are.

Walcott needs to earn a contract with consistent performances, after yesterday's pathetic performance from him you just wonder if he will ever become a top consistent player.

posted on 1/1/12

I don't care what the article says, Theo has not displayed any form of consistency since he joined us, pay rises should be performance related in his case !! In fact .. for most of the players at Arsenal !!

Hahaa. Don't blame you but it's such a normal occurance for us that whenever a clear cut chance is missed, I just laugh at our players inability to shot the f.k.n ball in the direction of the goal.
Ala Bendtner. Oh, how I don't miss him.

Of course it does depend on whether the reports are falsified or whether they are true, but hypothetically, if they are true, then we should not be offering an outrageous amount of money for a player who has failed to re create his form from the previous season.

Our wage cap is £100k p/w. Van Persie allegedly gets paid £90k p/w on his current deal. If you honestly think that Walcott deserves to earn near enough to van Persie, then I suggest you have a word with yourself.

But a lot of it does depend on whether it's just sensationalist, lazy journalism or whether there are aspects of truth to the reports.

What form? Honestly I can't remember.

I don't mind Walcott. I think he's an ok player. A player who should be used in squad rotation imo. He gets far too much playing time.

I hope yesterday ends the speculation that he'd be better placed in attack than on the wing. Pitiful attempt on goal.

He got 13 goals and 10 assists last season. Not too shabby for a 21 year old. He was much better last season than he has been this season, do you not agree?

With all that being said, I think sometimes Walcott himself forgets how old he is. The kid is 22 and he's asking to be one of our highest earners at the club? Kid seems to be getting too big for his boots.

85k a year for non-improving Walnut is a farce - what annoys me the most is that he has not delivered one good season for us and yet he asks for that - time to offload smug little Theo.

Just feck off.

You shouldn't be laughing at anyone with that headless chicken Lennon strutting his stuff at your club.

posted on 1/1/12

He probably should have asked for this contract last season when he actually looked a decent player.

I can't see any of our fans slagging off Lennon at the moment? We're all wishing he comes back very soon. Meanwhile this thread is like a collective "feck off" to Walcott from the Arsenal fans.

If Lennon asked for £85k per week, I'm sure you'd give the same reactions, Spurtle.
