Torres did some good link up work during the game, better than what we have had from Drogba in recent games, but he still does not look like scoring and he still does not have the pace to get ahead or get to the ball first against defenders.

Good effort from the lad though.

Bosingwa was shitt for me. He can´t cross, he can´t beat a player, he just runs down blind alleys and then turns back

With two games in three games I hardly expected a good performance, but at times we were good and just about deserved the win.

Garth Crooks couldn't be more bitter if he was actually a giant lemon (not just a figurative one).

Biggish I am not as desperate for Torres to score as everyone else seems to be but if he keeps working hard at least and showing effort he'll get there it's what most of us have been asking for. However the desperation for Torres to score and to include him innthe goal was a bit cringey to me..almost as if Torres scoring/having a hand in the goal was bigger than the 3 points and the team win. But don't want to put a downer on things he and the team have done well

And i think the reason why everyone is happy with Torres because of his work rate and looked like he wanted to win, whereas Drogba bar Valencia plays when he wants too. Torres was actually good today

I thought Torres did some v good stuff in build up and I saw for the first time that some Chelsea players simply are not on his wavelength

But he clearly does not have the pace anymore because a defender always gets that tackle in just as he is about to pull the trigger..............for me that proves he is just not sharp enough because it happens every bloody time.

There were times today when he could have been played in but not spotted though and that must be so frustrating..
