I agree with you, the desperation we all have to see Torres work out as signing for CFC makes some fans on here see everything through Torres tinted glasses.

But I think he did quite well today.

I loved Torres today. In spite of all the negative comments, he worked really hard and in the end he made the difference. And I love the fact that the BBC is claiming Lampard should have been sent off in the first half. It would have been a ridiculously harsh red considering he didn't touch the Wolves player. BBC really don't Chelsea do they.
Great attitude from the boys today - we need more of that.

Just annoying how much creativity we are lacking which is why Torres comes so far back and instead of getting in the box, he dropped deep to get the ball , supplied the ball for Cole to whip in.

Torres created the corner, Mata took it and Ramires finished it, Team work. Torres with his magnificent through ball found Cole and his pinpoint cross was converted clearly (no deflection) by Lampard, thats what you call team play, barca's style? I think so. Torres MOTM

Thought mata was pretty poor really. Dont get me wrong he put in a hell lot of effort but his passing and particularly shooting was poor. Like when torres put him through for example.

If it wasnt for the corner we wouldnt have scored. btw in the first half he put through Mata who should have scored, another ball to Lampard but was cut out by the defender. Did you watch the game BK?

Played for 10 minutes and wolves scored exactly after he came on (although he is by no way accountable) . Didnt do much really, didnt have enough time.

Does not our continuous lack of creativity and the fact that AVB tried to sign Modric mean the problems are identified but can´t be dealt with until the right player at the right price becomes available.

You're right. It was a win. A scrappy win. Thats what i said to you before the game. whenever we do win games, they are scrappy as hell.

Did you see how Gerrard supplied the service to Carroll the other day when he came on against Newcastle, he put in 2 or 3 good crosses and a through ball, Carroll almost scored but we only have Mata and there is alot of pressure on him.

When AVB took off Mata we struggled. Ramires cant cross, had the chance 2 or 3 times but he couldnt. Bosingwa had the chance to cross but we never know what we get from him.
