I'll not hold my breath over Celtic in the transfer window, too many promises undelivered in the past.
Wouldn't be surprised if pistol is keeping a close eye on the goings on down Mordor way in January, and will release the purse strings accordingly. You don't get value in January, apparently, unless it's a loan.
Hammer, we have more strength and depth now than in 2009. We have Izzie on the way back, Lustig to make his debut and big Victor. On top of that, we have Hooperman and Stokes plus Kayal, Ledley, Mathews and K. Wilson. Much much stronger and we will win the SPL, make no mistake about that.
Gordon Strachan was to blame for 2009...no one else
Celtic have 34 first team players on your books, If Celtic dont win the title, financially your fecked!

where do you get this stuff from?
English man follows Celtic
Let me advise he did follow a Glasgow team for a short time but it wasnt Celtic nae clues though
Strachan won the league on the last day of the season in 2008 against a Rangers side that made a European Cup Final. So the gap between the teams was close, Rangers then went out and spent over £17million in the summer of 2008. Surely you cannot keep blaming Strachan if Rangers spent £17million that season and he got Willo Flood in January.
how many players do you want?
Enough average players to get in the guiness book of records
so tcd its now the manager at CP who controls the purse stings and not lawwell
How people blame Strachan for us losing the league that year is beyond me!
I am fed up with people who never accepted Gordon Strachan. The man could not have done much more.
Strachan was the greatest manager Celtic had but never had!
Surely you cannot keep blaming Strachan if Rangers spent £17million that season and he got Willo Flood in January.

He had just beaten Rangers at Ibrox to go 7 points clear, he was then 2-0 against Dundee Utd that would have taken us 10 points clear in January.20 points Celtic dropped from that moment till season end...despite Rangers continually handing us back the iniciative when losing at home to ICT and drawing away to Hibs...
Aye, it was Strachan's fault
so tcd its now the manager at CP who controls the purse stings and not lawwell

TCD.
We won the league on the previous season on the last day. Clearly we were not miles ahead of Rangers, and they also got to a European final under Walter Smith. So in May 2008, we are slightly better than Rangers.
Rangers go out and spend £17million that summer, do you think that may help them improve a lot? Yet Gordon still managed to get us top of the SPL by seven points and was unlucky in the Champions League. Clearly, Skippy was not having as good a season as the previous season and Brown still had not become the player we expected. If that board had helped Gordon Strachan a wee bit more than just signing Willo Flood he would have got us over the line. I'm not saying Fletcher, but a good player. You could tell from Gordon's body language that he was fed up with the backing Lawwell and the board were giving him.
Lenny will cup his ears a few times more and hold a few more cups in 2012.
It was Mowbray's fault we lost out on McCarthy. Apparently he wasn't good enough to get in the first team
Maheed you mean he will flip his ears and hold afew more world records for bottle kicking in 2012!
We won the league on the previous season on the last day.

We are talking about a specific season and THAT particular season, Wgs had the artillery to beat Rangers...HE blew it.
Do you forget the LC final that season when we embarrassed Rangers?
He fekt up and he knew it

As the song says 'Don't look back in anger'. We are the top of the league now and will be crowned Champions of the SPL at the end of the season.
But what are your opinion's on his time at Celtic overall?
