Utd 8-2 L'Arsenal = spanking
-------
to be fair this is more like.,,, got shaaat all over, stomped on, trampled into the ground, and then laughed at by the whole world for ages after.
What if the score ends up being 10-6 or something? Is that still a thrashing if the opposition score 6
How typical. An Arsenal article on the Tottenham board.
What constitutes a drubbing then?

Always knew the Spurs fans were a kinky lot.
Just to clarify, a "drubbing" is only handed out to teams from lower divisions as a spanking is too harsh for a team of divisionally lower quality

A mauling is a spanking plus Ben Thatcher's elbow and a tackle thrown in by Shawcross for good measure

a tonking happens between bed sheets.....
As for a massacre ask Bashar al-Assad what's going on in Syria and a good old fashioned trouncing is only applicable in a derby game played north of the Midlands on a rainy day where the away team díck all over the home team, BUT it must be a Super Sunday game on Sky Sports
