And Vidic, while Fergie has a right to say whatever he wants, comments like this have a distinct lack of professionalism.

................

After Liverpool FC's performance during this whole affiar, I really can not take you seriously after saying that.

I think no matter what SAF or Kenny do to build bridges I still think Suarez will get a lot of abuse. I wish Suarez/Evra never happend as it spoilt the game I love it's a shame stuff like this happens when it should be about the football and just the football.

I think fergie probably feels that Suarez deserves all he gets from the utd crowd and why should he try and stop it, he always likes a good stir!

Two wrongs don't make a right. And Liverpool's behaviour is nothing to do with me.

I still have every right to beleive Ferguson has been unprofessional, no matter how Liverpool have acted.

I am not a part of the Liverpool FC PR department.

Kenny and the club like to talk about 'The Liverpool Way.'

With these reports in the press about 'Peace Talks' it's not what I'd call 'The Liverpool Way.' We should have first and foremost sought contact with Utd. about any possibilities - not running to the press

There have been a lot of PR disasters on our part in the last few weeks - I thought Americans were good at this sort of thing.

Instead of talking to the press about 'Utd. Peace Talks' and footballs being changed during the game we should be keeping our business behind closed doors

If however Kenny would release a press statement to confirmm he's not interested in Darren Bent I'd make an exception to this rule

I think the way forward is for LFC to show a little class and punish Suarez themselves and issue the apology to Evra.

"I would totally agree with this, IF he actually kept his mouth shut. Despite there being no quotes from any Liverpool representative, read the article attached to the OP, Ferguson said this:

"It is nice of them to do it through the press.

"You would have thought they would come to Manchester United first. I do not see why there is any need for it but I have nothing to say about it."

That is his response to media hearsay, since nobody from Liverpool has said anything to the press, hence the lack of quotes.
"

And where did you get your quotes from? The media by any chance???

You lot are something else you really are. All we`ve had from kenny since this started was how suarez was innocent.......then it was innocent til proven guilty.......then when he was charged we "didn`t know the full story".......but was keeping quiet (at long last) so as not to get into trouble! Surely this is the correct time to reveal all and THEN draw a line under it all.........unless he knows what everyone else without lfc blinkers on has realised already.

Why would accept guilt when you're sure you're innocent?

Who'd accept a punishment when he was sure he was innocent and had the option to fight to clear his name?

Has Evra been officially charged with anything? I believe suarez has? Or are you going to avoid admitting that too?

>>had the option to fight to clear his name?

that isn't an option in a kanagroo court with an agenda to punish you regardless of circumstances. Like the FA.

In theory you'd be right though

You're saying that the media fabricated a direct quote?

Read that, and then the article in the OP. I think you'll find the only quotes are from the United manager.

I'm sure most of you United fans didn't expect Suarez to be found guilty when the allegations was made. I don't expect to accept it though

"Why would accept guilt when you're sure you're innocent? "

Well according to the official statement suarez has......regardless of the little tangent he went on after about his reluctance....blah...blah...blah

Why would he and the club not want to fight it to the hilt to clear his name in the criminal courts......as first suggested???

No....let me guess.....cos the British Judicial System is pro-United and Fergie too??

How has SAF been unproffesional?

He hasn't said anything during the whole affair. Which is what the FA asked of both clubs.

Only one manager has shown unprofesionalism here Fred and the whole country knows it. Even you.

Wake up, open your eyes for once.

No they do not feel he is innocent

It is against the FA rules to say what he did (possibly innocently) and has been banned because of it.

Kolo is a good example here. He never intended to take a banned subtance. It was accidental and probably utterly stupid. City accept he didn't do it on purpose but because of it they lost him for 6 months. So he got a club fine for his ignorance.

Liverpool have lost their best player because of his stupidity. Liverpool, as a club, should rise above this ;The FA is out to get us' garbage and fine the player for his mistake. Issue the apology. Explain it was only ignorrance and move on. For me it really is that simple

Bosco, Liverpool won't appeal as the reason for the decision was that they didn't accpet in the situation of Evra losing it that Suarez would have remained civil. Now if that's their opinion after reviewing the video and accepting Evra's word over Suarez's how can they appeal?

I could murder somebody and never be charged for it, doesn't make it right .

Linda Carty has been charged of murder in the US and sits on death row in Texas, many believe her to be innocent, should we all allow her to be executed for what is widely believe to be a bodged trial? No, we still fight for her innocence.

It's a similar situation with Suarez, we believe he is innocent so fight to clear his name, United fans will do the same if Evra gets charged for abusing Suarez.
