Pretty boring article to be honest

Bates out

I love the Bates out comments without a valid replacement. Bet you all think he's done nothing to improve the club/facilities since he's been in charge.

GET OUT OF OUR CLUB YOU MORON !!!!

Cas I would rather have Donald Duck take over from KWB, he is a parasite who has a regime in place which on a businesss level is ok to line his bidging pockets but as taking the club forward it aint gonna happen while he is here we are gonna stay in Div 2 for a long long time, until the time is up for him to have to pay back the IR

under KWB we are going nowhere fast

Cas how can you justify the 2 Bates articles, can you explain them?

posted on 7/1/12

Lashed, sorry but what you talking about. These are taken from longer articles.
It just confirms the manager needs to suceed, but do we need to put pressure on him. Should we not back him, but if fails then he will be sacked.

Justified???

You Guys have no appreciation on how to run a club.
Bates has more business acumen that most and put more into the club than most- and certaintly more to the people on here.I have been to over 500 games and feel we are moving in the right direction with Bates - better stability and feel he is good for Leeds in the long term. All you Bates out posters without any real alternative plans -Please tell me the bigger picture- about your "cunning plan"-
As long as the Balance sheet looks healthy and we are improving and prices are stable we should all get behind our club.

LIW BATES OUT

The mob 'is' smaller than 'you' think!

Just because the five or ten are noisier on here does not mean everyone agrees with you.

Oh and a fine comment from Lashed '..I would rather have Donald Duck take over from KWB..'

Priceless

I think he's probably telling the truth there.

Sadly Donald Duck, the ficticious cartoon duck, didn't try buying the club did he? Ken Bates did.

And Hurrah for that!

LIW, and you've never twisted anything on here! There are people on here who claim Bates is lining his pockets, but have never provided proof. So this isn't twisting anything I guess.
As for the two articles they are basically one story. Of course a manager needs to meet targets or he will be asked why? Does this no happen in your workplace. But should we be putting unfair stress onto a manager so making it harder to succeed. Surely this is what is being stated. Don't forget the two websites pick and choose what the use and where they get it. They don't get there stories from the horses mouth.

What's he put into the club

Why does he have to put anything into the club to be a success? Sorry is this why fans are all against him because they see other clubs losing money with owners funding this!!!

Well if you look at it about what he's put in. For an company the size of the club what would you expect a chairman to get paid? £50k a year. So has he takes no salary he has put this in each year!

What has the 500 games got to do with owt? I have been going for 45 years and that counts for jack aswell. With regard to your comments about how much Bates has put in, what I would love to know is how much he has taken out. Having said that we are his plaything to do as he likes with including the movement of funds. He certainly isn't in it for the popularity.

Cas

What are you on about.

Kelly has said hes put more in than most

I've asked what

A simple question

You need to learn to read

Cas

You work for the club don't you? Never seen anything like you before.

But should we be putting unfair stress onto a manager so making it harder to succeed.
.....
Hang on he is putting pressure on himself

4-1 against barnsley one worst results in our history.

Dear me.

So I can't comment? I agree he hasn't put more in than most. I also believe he hasn't taken millions out that some people think. But that's my view and I know people will disagree.
You need to learn to chill and not use my name in other links when I hadn't even made a comment as well.

What is it? Jealousy that he owns the club and you do not?

Are you equipped to run a club or understand overheads and budgets - No

Moving money in and out- did you invest at some stage?

Are you a shareholder?Does Bates take a wage?

If Bates was from Yorkshire people would probably warm to him- He does not care and knows what is more important is making the club able to compete whilst improving the clubs facilities making the club a more attractive investment oppurtunity.

Bluememe, someone asked me what the articles were about and this was what I felt was being said by Bates. My view is we have actually played utter crap in a lot of games. But as I put in a previous article I will cheer the team. If we are someway off the playoffs come easter I think we should be making a change so the new man can get a look at the squad.

Kelly -
Yes I am jealous, I'd love to be able to own it

Do I understand budgets and overhead - yes it's my job

No am not a shareholder but i am stakeholder

If we were heading in the right direction be that in terms of looking like a return to the premiership or in overall development of the club, then I would not resent those people who have invested making a profit on their investment, including Bates, you would need a rich benefactor not for that to happen like Chelsea or Man City have.
One problem with Bates is that he is not actually that rich and therefore cannot afford to forego his cut in order to bring the club on.
Wonder whether the accounts at companies house would indicate just how much he takes out of the club and whether it's disproportionate to the profits we allegedly make.

Kis 2 year deal
Paul Rachubka 2 year deal
Mikael Forssell end of the season deal
Brown 1 year + 1 added deal
Varean how ever you spell it 1 year + added year deal
Aob 2 years + deal

AlL signed this season only in the summer time and 3 of them are trying to get rid of all ready. 1 out injured that was all ways a risk and The other one not being picked.

putting pressure on himself.

Forget the only 1 point off playoffs rubbish. We should be in them!!!!

Bates didn't actually answer this question:

"Does Bates still believe in his manager Simon Grayson?"

Very different to his statements previously about how his relationship with Grayson was the best he had ever had in football with a manager.
