You cook with the tools you are given. If the handles break or fall off, if your oven never heats up and you have no money for replacements, then as a chef with self pride you try to do the best you can.
To say that David Moyes does not have it in him is a slur on the man, his toil and endeavour over the years, his obvious dedication to the Club, his players and the fans and to his absolute Honesty.
Yor Rant is ill timed and way over the top. Accept it.

I appreciate the sentiment Phil, but unless you think Moyes reads the articles here regularly it was a waste of time writing that.

Everton have just one problem - they have punched above their weight for so long that the supporters now expect them to be competing with the top 5 or 6 clubs every year. Quite frankly, they don't have the resources and Moyes has done a most wonderful job.

Talk about stating the obvious. We all know about Moyes and his lack of tactical ability which is why he needs a good assistant, unfortunately the lad he has at present is far from good I.E. I think like Bily, that Mr Round was a panic buy and his abilities away from the blackboard not studied enough. As for the lack of money, I just do not buy that as other Clubs in far worse financial state than us have invested in order to safeguard their future status and in fact many are above us. Kenwright is clearly no longer the Chairman he thinks he is and needs to recognise that, there needs to be a shake up and the first one to go, I would suggest is Elstone.
