I am trying to post a link from the guardian but the spam filter is stopping the link.

Admins, is it possible to post a link from the Guardian?

His captain said.

"He was abused and I'll leave it to Tom and the police to investigate that," Furman told BBC Radio Manchester. "What happened should not happen in the game. It has been highlighted over the last few months and it is an absolute disgrace."

A witness who gave evidence to Liverpool officials and the police was quoted by the Guardian as saying: 'I was to the right of the Kop and the No11 turned to walk away after a tackle.

'I heard a single voice shout, 'You ****** black *******.' He spun round with shock on his face and started pointing at the crowd, from where the shout had come.'

my only worry was when the Liverpool supporters started singing the Suarez song after the guy made his complaint. What were they on about?

Liverpool's recent actions have convinced their deluded followers that Suarez is innocent.

EVERYBODY knows he was guilty. Even City fans think he was.

The T-shirt thing and this world is against us stance they decided to take has now provoked their fans into thinking its perfectly acceptable to do same as what Suarez did.

Suarez was an Idiot but arguably Liverpool football club have been bigger idiots for allowing it to become a saga which is now spinning out of control.

If the person is found and proved he said what he is accused of saying, then he'll be given the appropriate punishment and hopefully banned from every ground for life. It was one person, who quite possibly could of gone to the game with the sole purpose of causing trouble. This is not the club's fault and there is nothing the club could of done to stop it. People like you who come on here trying to stir things up are not helping matters, jog on.

By the way, Adefemi got 3 A starts at A-Level and was offered a place at Cambridge. So any kind Of notion that he mishead is out of the window.

Suarez 'is' innocent.

The fact that 1 moron, whoever he is, decides to abuse someone has nothing to do with that.

We have worked hard over the years to eliminate racism from football. I just hope we don't loose all these years of hard work just because of a small minority.
While I have tried to avoid any comments on the Suarez issue thus far, a recent view of the goal mouth video between Suarez and Evra is sickening. With Suarez's facial expression and him pinching Evra's skin. I bet if Evra was another black footballer, Suarez might have lost a couple of tooth there and then.

SouthLondonManc. - would be good to get confirmation that "Has given his statement to the police claiming he was racially abused" as without that the article would probably need to get edited as it would sit uneasy with us.

This is from the Guardian report.

" Before leaving the stadium Adeyemi gave a statement to Merseyside Police in which it is understood he claimed to have been racially abused twice by a supporter"

Ok Admin, as no official statement has yet been released I would add the word "alleged" to the article.

posted on 7/1/12

The problem Liverpool fans had with the Suarez case was the source of the allegation and the fact that 90% or so of the evidence came from a proven unreliable source. The whole thing would of been laughed at in a court of law. Even if Suarez only said it once he was an idiot and had obviously not done his homework on Evra.

If one person out of 44'000 at Anfield has made ill judged and racially abusive comments then I hope they throw the book at them and make an example of him as the FA have obviously done with Suarez.

Are you Man U fans commenting on this through your genuine concerns about racism or are you using the subject as a tool to wum? if its the latter take a serious look at yourselves.

It does in the quote I printed above which is paste and copied from the report.

Do u find it hard reading?

The words RACIALLY ABUSED TWICE is there.

Also, is that satisfactory for you admins?

SLM. So just because someone has been offered a place at Cambridge University, you're saying it makes it impossible for him to mishear something. If I was to look at the selection criteria for the uni would I find 'must have perfect hearing' on it? This has got to be up there with the most stupid statement ever posted on any forum. If a Liverpool fan posted something like this as a defence of something, they would be laughed off the site. Fingers crossed the same will happen to you.
