I agree with you. Rogne and Mulgrew were excellent again, thought Ledley had a poor game and it was unlike him, it showed. Samaras is playing well, but for me he is still not the answer; I would rather have Commons in the team. But that's my opinion.
Last team that beat us was Athletico Madrid.
Only team that has defeated us since October 1st.
Ledders done his usual tidy and unflustered self, slipped over to full back no worries.
Having the luxurious option of Samaras AND Commons.

11 league games but yes 12 if you include the cup game last week.
Agree Ledley was not on form today and neither was Mathews until the second half. Samaras has been playing well I think, but I have noticed he tires a lot second half of games. He always starts off well with fantastic runs but second half his runs go nowhere and he eventually loses the ball instead of passing. Glad to see Commons back though as he is another option in midfield.
I really wonder who this top class striker might be. Do we mean paying for a known name?

Samaras works his socks off, Commons doesn't.
Commons is more direct and is deadlier in front of goal.
It's great to have options.

Celtic started off the season very poor and at one stage was 15 points behind our closes rivals, yes I was one of the fans asking the questions was Lennon the right man.
Now we are 2 points clear and again today proved we can handle the pressure as Rangers were top before kick off, agree we need to learn to kill games but am I getting carried away?
Yes there is still a long way to go but if they lose jelly them fir me the league for them will go aswell, now I know they have sold Boyd and Miller in the Jan window and still won the league, but difference this time is they don't have Walter and more important Lennon has us playing well
As for another striker some may shoot me here but I would take John Sutton think he would do a great job for us and is settled in the SPL

Forster had another 2 great saves todaynd has had more shut outs than Mcgregor who has had a few howlers this season for Rangers and Scotland.
Mathews has been outstanding and Izzy was POTY last season. Rogne has been solid the last few weeks although he tired near the end today probably because he still has Jelavic in his back pocket.
Oh yeah and Davis, McCuloch, Edu, Bartley and Aluko couldnt even touch our midfield!
Up front the only player in your first team who would possibly get into ours is Jelavic. He is a cass player I will give you that.
