Wenger has on a number of occasions said e has money to spend but has chosen not to.

In the eyes of Arsenal fans do you think this is true or do you think he is covering up the fact that there is no money?

I think Wneger is a good manager and has done fantasticallly well at identifying young and promising talent and if he could keep hold of them then you would truly have lied up to your potential but for whatever reason, some key players have gone.

If Wenger truly had the money but never used it I just cannot understand why, that is a massive mistake in my opinion, a signing or two would have made all the difference.

If the money is definately there, and Wenger has said he has been told he can spend it then he must have been allowed to spend it. There are plenty of players he could have gone for with 40m that don't have egos surely. Besides it's not as if he has gone out of his way to avoid them in the past. I am sure he has a plan, I'm just not sure it's the right one anymore, it may have been but I think he needs to have a re-think.

I definitely think its Wenger. The board must be anxious. Their plan has always been to raise share value of Arsenal and that can't happen if there is no CL revenue. Infact the board did not want to sell Cesc. Wenger had to plead with them to sell him on the cheap.

Missing out on the CL for one season if it were to happen would not kill you, the danger would come with sustained abscence. I hope you make it, behind us of course.
