What, the 70's? I used to be like that with older movies but as soon as you get into them and realise how good they are you don't really care. And that film will shìt you up guaranteed.

Be glad it's me and not Raptor you're talking to. He'd probably have recommended Battleship Potemkin or something.

have you got a IMDB account ahb? it's really useful. the forum is great and you get people listing their top 10/20/30 films for their favourite genres etc. it's good fun. you can also rate films, do quizzes etc. good fun.

Has anyone seen Shooter?

What's a films age got to do with its quality?

Try Severance if you want folks trapped. Comedic British take on the hostel style tortured in backwoods horror. Maybe Tucker and Dale Vs Evil for a similar yank attempt.

I have no idea why I just repeated myself there. I'm losing it

Shooter was dreadful.

If the age of a movie turns you off, so be it.

No idea who Danny Dyer is, but if you enjoyed the type of movie Severance was give Tucker and Dale a whirl,

in bruges on film4, decent film

Tucker and Dale versus evil is hysterical... not a deep thinker but plenty of comedy.

In Bruges was alright.

Watched s movie called The Guard starring Brendan Gleeson the other night that I think was made by the brother if the In Bruges director. Very good. May not translate do well to non Irish, although the wife seemed to enjoy it.

Nobody trapped anywhere though

You ever seen Pandorum?

Not a small place to be trapped but in a way not massively different from Descent.

It is a good movie nothing hugely special though.

I sed to use RottenTomatoes back in the day, posted on there and all, now I just use them to check out films so rarely bother with IMDB.

Monica Belluci. Took a long time to objectify her again after Irreversible but it was worth the wait.

It was years ago I originally fell in love with her... struggle to remember what movie I saw her in though.

You can't go wrong with JCVD.

IMDB is way better than Rotten Tomatoes

Use both sites to get a decent idea

Yah probably so CSTP, but I only use RT to get a general idea if a film is good or bad or not. With the tomatometer it's only critics actually rating films whereas with IMDB, registered users all vote I think. Not that critics are all that or anything but I suspect a younger element is at work on IMDB. Inception in their top ten films of all time for example.

I actually liked it... probably wouldn't watch it again for a while but they got me with the concept.
