posted on 24/3/13

Just watched 10000 BC, it was actually pretty good. Very surprised.

It's a shame Pulp Fiction became a bit boring for me after the bit with John Travolta until Samuel L Jackson's bit at the end

Because the first hour of it was so so good

A few interesting films available at the $1 cinema

Django
Les miserables
Jack Reacher
Life of Pi
Parker

Which one(s) should I go for?

Life of Pi may have gotten loads of awards and stuff, but it just isn't my type of film.

May aswell watch Django. It's pretty silly, but fun to watch.

Yeah I probably will go for Django (especially since the different US age ratings allow me to actually get in)

My dad wants to see Jack Reacher so we'll watch that as well

was arguing with my brother who insists children always ruin films they appear in, i don;t want to agree with him but looking over it he has a point!

i mean, watching the Indiana Jones films recently reminded me of just how much i detested Short Round from the temple of doom-almost as annoying at the blonde woman from that film

you just wanted to kick the kid in Terminator 2 and don't even get me started on Jurassic Park - to the lot of them

are there any exceptions to this Addams family about the only one i can think of

Ronin.... though there was a creepy sexual undertone which I am sure hasn't dated well.

-------------

Leon
Battle Royale
City of god
Pans labyrinth
Gremlins
Jaws
Halloween

I could name hundreds of great films with kids in them

Very overrated.

What about Home alone 1 and 2?

posted on 28/3/13

Home Alone has to be one of the most violent series out there, he'd hve killed them several times over

remember in the second one where he's chucking bricks at them from the top of the block of flats, which hit the burglars square in the face
