Doesn't a boiling hot iron slam into the tall one's face..

I am sure he looks up at some point to see some kind of heavy ball dropping on him as well.

It is quite mild compared to Saw though.

What's that got to do with kids ruining films? Yeah it might have been violent but it was also hilarious viewing as a kid.

No worse than Tom and Jerry anway.

just watched the matrix on 5*. It's on 5*+1 if anyone's interested, bout halfway through.

Used to love this film, but watching now for the first time in a good few years, it's quite cheesy.

I still love the first Matrix, it's almost perfect imo. The idea behind it is so brilliant. The 2nd and 3rd had amazing parts as well and it ended up making sense, but ruined it with all the cheese.

It was brilliant first time round, never really got around to watching it for a good few years, the fighting is good but it was the story that was mindblowing...

Once you know how it goes you are not left with that brilliant of a film.

Why do you all download rather than just stream online?

Like burning the film's to disc to watch on a DVD player or something?

Or have a dodgy internet connection?

Outside of that it is easier to just stream, I could start up any of those movies now and aside from the odd one where you struggle to get a good link I could probably play them from the start without interruption.

I have a good solid internet connection, but there's always the off chance it blinkers off, or I have to pause to go bathroom or something and it takes ages to re-load. No such problems if you have the file

And yeah 8bit, I agree the last 2 films got some ott criticism, there were still some brilliant fight scenes, and it did make sense, though narrowly. Those 3 films were a big part of my early secondary school years

What are people's opinions on Avengers? Just watched it and thought it was a good, enjoyable film.

Incredible Hulk was brilliant as he usually is.

I generally know which video hosts are reliable and let you pause (without taking it back to the start if it is longer than 2 mins) and don't generally mess up but I suppose that has come from streaming in the first place...

Thanks anyway, wanted to know.

The first Matrix film was brilliant! The other two were good as well.

I thought the Averngers was pretty decent, it's worth a watch to kill some time. I was expecting it to be terrible.

I think some of the criticism for Reloaded and Revolutions is a bit harsh.

Watched Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace and Skyfall recently, all for the first time (apart from Quantum which I'd seen a bit of before). Very good, I liked them.

I didn't like Revolutions the first time, when I watched it the 3rd time it made sense and everything fell in to place. The concept of the last 2 is even better than the first one imo, those fecking scenes with Neo and Trinity just ruined it though, the one in Reloaded where he brings her back to life and in Revolutions just before she dies.

They shouldn't have killed off Neo and Trinity.

I know the main thing was the salvation of Zion, but honestly, who gives a feck? Genuinely think I would've been happier if they survived and the rest died, and went on to produce babies with powers of the One

they could've made some amazing sequels if that happened. I liked how Neo died, because he spent the whole time figuring out how be stronger than Smith and then the answer was just to sacrifice himself. The dialogue in the scene when Trinity died was so bad though

Trinity was my fav character. Morpheus was cool in the first, but got quite boring in the last 2. Neo just doesn't have a fecking personality, too robot like in the last 2 films, which was probably done purposefully tbf.

Yeah Morpheus was so much better in the first. I think Keanu Reeves is just bad at acting but it sort of worked for the Matrix.
