Ummm there are running jokes. Not so much a story. There are references though so best to start at the beginning.

The Amy character rescued TBBT for a while, about the last good thing the show did though. The characters aren't endearing, they're annoying, Leonard especially. Howard was funny when he was paired up with Raj and you had the jokes about them being a couple. Bernadette is an infuriating character

Amy's character is so cringe, absolute the worst thing about the show. The show itself has dried out a bit over last couple of seasons, though Raj and Howard pairing is about the best thing on it, though it's not as common as it used to be.
Sheldon's character was very good at first but like Amy's it's infuriating. Should've left him off the show after he left home last season.

And Better Call Saul, terrific stuff!!

they cut the dentist scene right back...the last 20 minutes scenes with Olivier are quality

Watched Paul. Was better than expected. Some good laughs in the middle section especially. Last 15 minutes were a bit safe compared to SOTD and Hot Fuzz, tried to ape sci-fi a bit more than the others did their genres. Definitely something different though,worth a watch.

Worlds End was meant to be the third in the trilogy. Not Paul.
