Big fan of mob films then?.......................By the way, casino>goodfellas
I like Casino, but sorry you're wrong about that.
As for being a big mob movie fan... not especially so in comparison to a lot of other genres.
Goodfellas is one of my absolute favorites.
In your opinion, i think it comes down to this, joe pesci walking into an empty room with a gun in his face or being thrown into a hole in the desert and beaten to death with shovels...................yep, casino wins.
But if you're focusing so much on Joe Pesci, his character in Goodfellas is much more compelling, nasty and down-right more memorable than in Casino.
As I said, Casino is great, but: Goodfellas > Casino.
And Once Upon A Time in America >>> BOTH films.
Tarantino movies in order of preference?
Pulp Fiction
Reservoir Dogs
Jackie Brown
Inglourious B@sterds
Kill Bill Volume 1
Kill Bill Volume 2
Death Proof
As much as I like Jackie Brown, after Pulp Fiction it looked as if QT's career trajectory was on a downward path.
Inglourious B's isn't top level Tarantino, but at least it seems to have halted his slide towards self-parody.
