My whole point is that he didn't start 40 games or come close to anything like 40 full games.

Yet you're still trying to twist it as if he was hopeless at Everton.

As I said, it's harder to get into a game when you don't start, so 10 goals in 2002 minutes is actually better than 10 in 22 full games.

As I orginally stated, to say that someone is unproven in the Championship when they've scored goals in the Premier League is ridiculous.

You might as well say Robin Van Persie is unproven in League 2.
