Don't you think SAF himself contributed just a little to the negativity by dropping him?
Excellent article though it may be wasted on the many dimwits who frequent here.
The same dimwits who choose to criticise our young Spaniard.

Contributed or eventually reacted to it is certainly a debate worth having. Ultimately SAF needs to make the right decision for the club, I think given to where the situation had got to I think he made the right decision after sticking with De gea for some time otherwise what does it say to Lindegaard, but picking one player for form reason over another is not the same as publicly slaughtering his every move or future at the club whether he is it a fault for an error or not.

Of course he has. His rotation of the two has done neither of them any good, especially De Gea. He hasn't played since we were beaten by Blackburn so his confidence must've been pretty low before yesterday but to play him in a game like Liverpool away was utter madness.
The manager needs to pick one and stick with him until the end of the season and because we need to look more long term here, I hope it's De Gea. We either stick with him and play him every week or get rid of him.
I totally agree with the media part. Has there ever been a keeper so under the microscope? He makes one tiny mistake and all of a sudden he's a disaster waiting to happen?! Even before the game, they talk non-stop about his mistakes!

By young I meant at least eligible for young player of the year i.e. 23 and under, which excludes Neuer who is 26 in March, just 5 months or so younger than Rooney.

Anyway are you going to repeat 'we should have bought Neuer' (who had zero interest in leaving Germany, so wasn't an option anyway) ad infinitum or support the player the we did buy, or at least refrain from slaughtering the guy.
Dont mean you personally btw
Sweet pea, hippo doesn't know how to support our player. see his previous articles on Jones as an example.
Cheers Anderson. I agree we need to support our players, because if we dont who will, and how are players like DeGea going to get confident and relax if even his own fans are giving him so much grief.
