There is a difference between being optimistic and blind faith in a chairman who has failed on so many of his promises.

You happy?
Who am I to argue?
To be fair, one of those internationals, and perhaps the one whose shoulders you're putting your whole season on, is David Healy.
I hoped we would sign a striker Henrik, but if we do not we have to back them anyway.
With no Naisy or Jelavic we will struggle, but such is life being a Rangers fans these days.
2225: BBC Scotland's Chick Young has given his view on what is going on at Rangers. "Rangers, once a class act in the transfer window, have operated this January like they were in a car boot sale," according to Chico.
Henrik,
blind faith ? There has been nothing but circumstanstial nonsense spouted.
me, 54 and the other gers fans are relaxed, have faith and trust Whyte & Ally.
No frothing at the mouth, no mass carpark gatherings like you lot.
You see, we'vre had troubles on and off the the park before and prevailed. 3IAR.
Celtic are perennial bottlers. Unable to see out a campaign.
And despite all our woes "the mighty Shellick" with their team of 1000 players are a full 1 pt in the lead. And you think we have problems ?
haw de haw. 4iar here we go. You lot are praying night and day for bad news to win the title at any cost. Yer average bear just laughs and gets on with it
You've got to take yer hat aff tae snaw......................PR, he's the man.
BlueBells, I understand.
Do you remember the abuse directed at Pistol Pete (still directed) for not signing Steven Fletcher, yet Whyte is escaping criticism from a majority of supporters. Mccoist cannot be held responsible if his chairman is not backing him at all and his top players are being sold and his captain is underperforming, by his own standards.
David Healy is one of those internationals. Doesn't mean he's any good.
Kirk Broadfoot is an international. Doesn't mean he's any good.
Bedoya is an international. Doesn't mean he's any good.......
.......I think u get the picture.
We are in a hell of a state and made ourselves look like a laughing stock once more in this transfer window.
Pathetic.
Support yer team thru thick and thin
Dont complain. If you are happy to celebrate thre good times together, the nrally round and support the as much, if not more, when times are tough. We are the people
"i love that line, "rats juice".

Have you read Walter Smith this week? You lot take some high ground in calling Celtic supporters paranoid, yet dismiss every bad financial story as propaganda by the media who want to hurt the club, yet believe everything the owner says! Despite, Whyte himself being subsequently proved wrong.
esctosh - apart from the "we are the people" bit, which I still don't really understand, I actually agree and respect your stance.
As much as I love having a dig at Rangers (because it's fun), let's not forget what happened to Celtics attendances when it became clear they weren't winning the league under Mowbray just a couple of years ago.
Its is hard to take selling jelavic and not even bringing in a loan deal.
Write Rangers off at your peril.
In all seriousness, what Rangers need now is for their supporters to get behind the team more than ever. Regardless of what's going on at boardroom level (and I think everyone can see that Whyte looks like being a bit of a Charlatan) you have to remember that he'll be gone at some stage but the support will remain and you have to back your team regardless.
Take it from me, it's not easy going to see your team when you know you're not going to win anything but it's what you do as a supporter.
VanBasten, I am not writing Rangers off.
I am merely questioning a blind loyalty to an owner who has failed on so many promises. Even people like Walter Smith have voiced concerns about backing Mccoist. The way Whyte has backed Mccoist, well not backed him, is shambolic!
I have 3 gripes;
1. In the last window, Whyte claimed there was a £9m bid, and that it hadn't been accepted because "there wasn't enough time to get a replacement in".
Well wtf have we got now?!
2. If there genuinely was a £9m bid, then what's changed since the summer window slammed shut and why did we accept a lower bid than one that was even made a few days ago...
I don't like being lied to and the mystery bid I suspect is pure nonsense.
3.`McCoist and Whyte agreed even in the summer that we needed another striker, and we had a parade of offers and transfer merry-go-rounds with ridiculous lowball offers, making a mockery of Rangers. If we needed a striker then, how come he's left us even more short now.
The window hasn't shut yet, but if they don't deliver a first team striker worth a decent portion of the transfer fee we've just taken in, then I'll be very very disappointed.
Oh aye, I'll blindly follow the team no matter what though....shame the financial support has been worse than when Lloyds had us by the baws
Don't complain?
Why not?
Are we just supposed to stand back and watch the team being stripped and no-one brought in?
It is possible to be a Rangers supporter and NOT agree with what's going on right now. I have no reason to trust Whyte and plenty not to trust him.
Hes a shady character who so far has not exactly been straight with the fans.
Brooklyn, my point exactly.
Support the team through thick and thin, but those in charge of improving the team should be held accountable.
Henrik's_Forehead-Twists and Turns Tommy Burns (U6171)
Aye they're all very clever now aren't they?
Yet they're the ones that got us in to this mess. So why should we listen to them have a go at the way Rangers are being run?
Ridiculous.

When times are tough the cloth must be cut to suit. I and most gers fans realise that and accept it. We're not on here bad-mouthing the board or in carp arks demand heads roll. No, we're right behind the team.
As Mr.Whyte has rightly pointed out we still have a strong squad, full of internationals. If we sign noone else, then so be it. We'll challenge like we have fo rthe last 3 years and push the title to the wire. We have the history, we have the experience and we have the titles. In Ally & Craig we trust
Renegade, I named Walter Smith
Well said Esctosh
Rangers were there before Whyte and Rangers will be there when he goes.
Tough times ahead, made worse by letting Jelavic go and not replacing him,but we are still Rangers supporters and have to stick together and back the boys in blue.
What is the alternative?
