It gives us something else to talk about other than another failure in the transfer market.
Bates out!
He wouldn't have to give lots of money up front and risk a manager walking after a month is why.
SKB, got it right there. They didn't want a manager coming in and the fans wanting him to spend money, so they waited till it closed.
Atleast it shows the board aren't happy with being 10th.
Shows bates for what he is, fantastic timing, make larry the scape goat. New manager will have the loan market to strengthen the team
Lets face it, we are a laughing stock and always will be as long as that Charlatan runs our club.
Sacking a Manager less than 24 hours after the transfer window closes leaves us in a mess for the rest of this season
Depending on loanees and cheap deals will lead us to ruin
All aboard the Good Ship Titanic/LUFC
Another daft decision. As daft as Leicester sacking Sven. Grayson has assembled a good squad and has done well for Leeds, bearing in mind he has little scope to buy. You should sack the chairman, not the manager! The fans deserve better.

Dont talk about stuff you dont know about
longtimefox, I think 'good squad' is stretching it a bit.
Has he not been forced to sell some of his better players at various times? And he got you out of the First Division. Not easy.

You got that right!

He's never been forced to sell anyone.
We had the biggest wage budget out of all the clubs in League 1, including norwich and saints. And was 3 times more than most.
Biggest wage bill does not get you the best players available. Transfer fees usually have to be paid for those unless you get the Beckfords and Johnsons from Leeds!
