It is a completely made up story by Ron Beasley, absolutely bollox.

And do you really think Levy could work with Jose?

Mourinho will only manage Liverpool, Unites or City and odds on it will be City

Mourinho to Spurs?

Dream on

Brendan Rodgers for me. He signed a new contract recently (I think) but look what he has done with a team of "never heard of him before" type players. Awesome coaching, awesome football - just like Spurs as they play similar football and wear white at home. Oh, and they can beat Arsenal too!

Chelseamf,with an extended 56,000 seater stadium.....why not?

I don't think Roman can afford to sack AVB, with the FPP rules being in place.

Mourinho's omelette, few people have been able to work with Mourinho, why single out Levy?

Levy will not give Jose the control and power he wants.

It really is obvious they could not work together!

Fair enough Mourinho's. But if Spurs do get a top manager say goodbye to you and Arsenal being London's top clubs....guaranteed.

He wont come to spurs, he needs a open cheque book to be succesfull,

I dont want to see us playing boring football like chelsea

Man City have said no more money mouse so where would he go then? I like the point about boring football.

Mañ City have plenty more recylable assets than any other club, even if they don´t inject more cash.

Jose strikes me too much as "fair weather" .
The players he would like, Levy cannot currently afford.
Similarly with his wages.

I fear for Mancini if the <Citeh> PL challenge collapses.

Why don´t you think you have a top manager now may I ask?

And as far as I am concerned, right now you are Londoñ´s top club. Spurs are by far playing the best football of the Londoñ teams.

The only time we played boring under Jose was in the the 3rd and last season of his reign.

He has got Madrid playing great football. his skill is to get the best out of the players he has and he has done that wherever he has been.

Mind you we are feckin boring now!

If Jose is on the market and City only win the league narrowly, I still think Mancini will get sacked.

Remember he failed to get them out of the CL group and that is a big failure for that group of players.

When they are inherently good ??
It does beg the question on the folklore.

Were Porto say the likes of Swansea before Jose ??
Not stellar players, nor wealthy club, but becoming a good team due to a manager getting them playing the right way.

Yes the players need to be good but he turns them into winners........

Inter doing the treble in the Barcelona era is a superb achievement and look at them since he left!

Madrid winning the league in the Barcelona era also another great achievement if it happens.

And remember he won the title with Chelsea the year after the Invincibles!

All good stuff, but not akin to my "Swansea" .
I think my doubts on Jose for Spurs are sound.

Cannot blame a tight/interfering chairman etc when the team does not deliver, when you know upfront the money is not there to buy in the talent.

RDBD..........

I am not saying Jose should be allowed to manage at Spurs and that Levy should concede control to him.

I have just said I can´t see it happening because Levy won´t concede control to that level.

Are we not getting a little ahead of ourselves in regards to Swansea? One promising half season in the PL does not a dynasty make!

We have seen this happen with other teams only to see it eveñtually go pear shaped.

Levy is not Abramovich. He runs the BUSINESS, not the team.
But doing a to him that you cannot progress due to lack of funds to buy marquee players etc cuts no ice.
Arry can probably tell you that first-hand.

Swansea have modest resources.
Their performance is due to a manager intent on playing a certain way, conveying that to his players, who have responded it to it, and are playing much better than so-called better PL incumbents.

Yes but the sample size for judging Swansea is insignificant at this point.

Mourinho's,yes we do have a relatively top manager but I'm talking about If Harry leaves.

Martiñ Jol is good, there are good mañagers other thañ Jose.

David Moyes would be a likely cañdidate, he cañ`t stay at Evertoñ for ever.

Neither is a top name for me. I wanted Ancelotti or somebody of that status. We'd be London's top club for ages.
