Very shocked to hear this... Putting rivalry aside, it is clear to see that this guy is Forest through and through. Its a massive shame. My condolences too for his famiy.
Very sad news and will cast a huge shadow over tomorrow's game.
He was an outstanding owner for Forest - rescued them from the mire and subsidising them at the end to the tune of over £10m a year.
Absolutely tragic news, a football man through and through.
R.I.P.
Terrible news I can only echo the above sentiments .
The bloke gave millions of pounds and many thankless hours to our great game .
r.i.p. Nigel.
Sad news indeed. Will the game even go ahead?
I can't see the game being played, condolences Nottingham Forest fans. R.I.P
Blimey, that's a bit of a shock.
RIP Nigel - let's hope both sets of fans show some respect tomorrow.
Condolences to his family...
But I think the game should still go ahead..
Shocker, 54 is no age. Shame his final few months in football where tarnished by a few idiots.

It's time football fans got real about football finances, and that includes Derby fans. Forest made an enormous loss in the last financial year yet hardly spent any money on transfer fees.
Very sad. Such a young man.

Poor bloke. Condolences to his family and friends.
I join all Derby fans in expressing sympathy and condolences at this terrible event. It's a very sad end to a genuine man.
Echo what ramdini has said...very tragic news, which once again puts football into perspective.
RIP
