I would keep Carroll on as a presence and bring Suarez on to play off him in Place of Kuyt.

Impressed by Carroll again today. Held up the ball well, some nice touchés.

Half time report we are solid at the back, as are spurs, helped by some woeful crossing from us. Bale being crowded which negates his threat and he is coming inside more and more. This gives a terrific outlet down our right and I think Bellamy should come across to the right sometime.

Carroll is really holding it up well, into his body rather than his head and he is bringing people into play.

Spearing is outperforming Parker, really unlucky with that shot hitting the stantion.

Gerrard playing well too, needs to have a dig at goal, in fact everyone should!

My question is shelvey on for who? If he was on the bench. Wouldn't put him on for.this game.

Close game so far. Carroll is proving his worth, but just needs better balls into the box. Both teams need a good bench if they want to win this, and we have a much better bench.

Carrolls done well, its not his fault other players still dont understand how he plays, when he wants it stuck up in the air they drill it and vice versa... When he wants it played to feet its pinged to his head.

So frustrating to watch must be even more frustrating for AC, i reckon he will be bald by 24 at this rate.

I could actually see Bellamy coming off. He hasn't really impressed me that much. Suarez for Bellamy then Downing for Kuyt and finally Henderson for Spearing.
