"I actually don't know what the knife crime thing is about so I'll plead ignorance on that."

That's exactly the point. Got plenty to say on Whyte coz it's everywhere. Some poor Tim goes to the game to see his team, get's a knife stuck in him by a fellow football fan and barely a thing gets mentioned!

Craig Whyte has a murky past. We get it. If the BBC have all the answers about his present and his future, I'll read them. If they want to talk about stuff he done before I hit puberty they can ram it up their hole.

Let me state, I have no issue with the BBC investigating. But on the strength of their case and what they have uncovered, it seems like the programe should have been dropped.

They've told us nothing new or nothing that wasn't already factual. But they've been incessant with it, it almost smells of some personal grudge.

Not how a national broadcaster with the BBC (fast diminishing) pedigree should behave.

If that's the case then that's outrageous that it's not been covered in the press.

Any violence at football is disgusting, especially knife crime.

Paisley - the BBC's journalism is at best the equal of the red tops. It's why I no longer believe it's right to have the tv license. The only thing the BBC do well is nature programmes (apart from when they film polar bears in zoos).

So you knew Whyte had been banned from being a Director for seven years?

You knew all about the companies he'd abandoned and the staff that had to spend months going through court to get their wages?

You knew he had possibly lied in court?

No, but it's a matter of factual record and any check on Whyte would have uncovered this. I would expect that as a minimum, Lloyds, MIH and the SFA would have done that and known. I don't need to know.

You knew all about the companies he'd abandoned and the staff that had to spend months going through court to get their wages?
What does it matter to me? His business was buying failing businesses and either turning them around or breaking them up. That's a messy business but entirely legal.

You knew he had possibly lied in court?

Policy - I don't remember you rambling on like a lunatic about Tommy Sheridan. He has as much, if not MORE, to do with your club than Whyte

The mess that's gonna push us under if it comes to it is one made my Murray and the previous board. Why do you care so much that Whyte lied in court presumably before you were born?

Chill out man. Tug one out and stick on Lubo - A Ghift From Ghod or Sutton Impact or something. Won't do you good to get so worked up about things that don't concern you in the slightest!

Is this the new 606-style deflection from the Rangers fans Papa?

posted on 7/2/12

what is the remit of the British Broadcasting Corporation?

I know they give us Eastenders

But is it to signal out 1 guy who happens to own a football team.

Im not saying he is not dodgy I dont know.

Did the BBC not do a similar programme about Mandaric and Redknapp?

Duke

You only have to look at those in charge of the English teams and you would have your work cut out reporting the dodges they've been involved in!

FFS Abramovich would fill a months broadcasting alone!

If they were actually contributing anything other than a continual smear then perhaps.

It looks as though they've shot their load too early and are now looking like a witch hunt right enough.

If they had substantial evidence on Whyte breaking the law, they should have done it once and put him to the authorities. They haven't, they've just continually 'alleged' things.

That gets boring pretty quickly.

If they had substantial evidence on Whyte breaking the law,

++++

I thought they did have evidence and put it out there...

Whyte can sue but he won't...and you and I know why!

Why wouldn't Rangers fans want to know, if the person who they thought would salvage their club, was nothing more than a, I'll-have-a-shot-at-this-fitba-malarkey crook?

One pertinent question here ?? Has old popeye sued them for this libel yet as the beeb explained they're still waiting

I rest my case
