The problem with the English football team is the old farts at the FA who run the whole schebang!

They are always old men in boring suits who are completely out of touch with the game, country, players, and people.

And when one of them dies, another clone is brought in to replace him.

Unless there is a radical overhaul of the set-up from the top down, nothing much will change. They will keep appointing the same type of manager who keeps selecting the same 11 players in the same boring ineffective formation.
