REALLY?!
If the FA get their way then you should thank your lucky stars that "Thicko" Redknapp is leaving you, this way you will still have a club to support in 3 years time, and should remain financially stable.
I personally dont think he will take the national job, there are no envelopes of the brown kind involved, and despite the humongous salary, he does love a nice little earner does old H
thats what the paper said
Would love for Harry to turn around and say he cant take the job, not because of my dislike for the National Side, but because he can work wonders with Spurs and it would feel like he is walking out half way through a project
You had me at "loving care"
Ok, count me IN!
Wayne your totally awesome and your in
God Bless You
So whats that now 7 of you.
Christ above you'll be looking to storm the gates at the FA at this rate.
Couldnt you have done this earlier, we have just wasted 1000 million on a brilliant new state of the art stadium in north Londo...........Hang on a minute, I know whats going on here, you want Wembley for yourselves dont you
You can add my name to the list RRP - International football is just so tedious, noithing about it captures any feeling of national pride or excitement, rather a fear of injury to players that play for your own team.
Unlike some others it doesn't even serve the purpose of adding something to do in the summer months. For me, I have the love of both the Tour De France, which lasts just shy of a month, but it takes me longer to watch it as getting in 4+ hours a day I tend to fall behind (sleeping during the main days event makes it even worse). On top of that I have an interest in Baseball (which works nicely with my night time hours).
I will admit to sometimes watching the odd international, but rarely making the duration of the game before I turn on the xbox and give up.
Internationals are boring to watch (this coming from someone who can watch cycling, baseball and curling), no appeal other than its the same sport that for Spurs I love.
As for Harry, if he takes it I wish him all the luck, but thats for two reasons. Firstly as a compliment to what he has helped us do in the past few years. Secondly because I think he'll need it. Sometimes I have questionned Harry's tactics and the timing of his subs, I think at times you can only motivate players so much, and on the international stage I think it will be much harder to do against better opposition. He has his favourite players (I wonder what the likes of Niko think of this news) and how that will set up with England where they have had that problem for a while now. The media in this country love doing several things, one of them is building someone up as much as they can before bringing them down with a bang. He's the medias darling at the moment, what will happen if England struggle under Harry, how son will they change...

Its not like i haven't tried to enjoy it or get excited about it either, i gave it a chance and its just a waste of time (IMO of course), i dont even cheer when we score, and most of the time i dont even make it through the 90 minutes, i often do some chores around the home
But i slightly disagree on the Harry part...im not so sure he will take the job

I used to get excited about international tournaments, now not so much. Is it because England are no where near as good as they used to be and we're just starting to realise that? Or is it that we've had a series of poor England managers who shoehorn players into the team based on reputation?

SIX NATIONS
France will be without scrum-half Dimitri Yachvili for their Six Nations home tie against Ireland on Saturday.
---------
International Rugby too.
Im not entirely convinced either RRP. I think we have a better chance of keeping him than we did during last summer. Since then he has had a heart problem, a court case in which we stood by him, we are up to third and another season in CL looks likely. (how many seasons has Harry even had of European football?)
On top of this the Enlgand team is in tatters, the twice former captain has to be replaced, most of the key plauyers are getting nearer the ends of their playing days, and the youth whilst looking good could all end up with nothing but wasted potential.
The only thing Spurs related about this that is happy is going to be Crouch, as he might get to play again.
