No other manager in the history

Terry Venables sacking seemed to split the fans at the time, I remember it not going down too well. I agree with everything else.

He was with us only 3 years Decs and like Harry had fingers in pies but wasn't as flamboyant. I always considered Venables a lucky manager and I wasn't to fussed to see him leave. I didn't think much of his replacement as a manager either,Ossie Ardiles or Gerry Francis.

Ossie was funny didnt he try 4-1-5, worked for a couple of weeks. I thought Gerry was very unlucky with injuries, like all our managers in those dark days started well then faded away.

Yes,there were some false dawns (Excuse the pun)but I always felt that we could be where we are now with the right boss. We were top once and can be again. I don't know about Ossie's formations as it's my greatest weakness when it comes to football,I don't know who should play where or what formation. But I do know about the history of Spurs and Harry will be a Spurs legend. George Graham did well for us and I wanted him to stay as he was second to Ferguson. he was a top name and we won a trophy and finished third. For God's sake levy, get a TOP NAME in.

Has dirty harry won anything worth worrying about in his entire managerial career? Nah!

I dont think we ever finished third under Graham, we did the last time we did was under Venables.

I didnt like Graham (not just the arsenal link), when he was their boss he used to be bothered when his team lost, when he lost as Spurs boss he just laughed it off, he seemed to be far too relaxed. I think he was just happy to keep us middle table and keep the pay cheque coming in.

He was under a lot of pressure being our boss after Arsenal Decs so had to put on a brave face....I think.
Shut up Mourinho.

You may not agree with it but thats life. Life goes on, as you will come to understand when dirty harry deserts you. Guilty as sin!

I'd be careful if \I were you, making libellous statements such as that, especially after a 12 man jury has cleared the guy of all charges.

If Arry is offered the England job ......
1. will he take it?
2. If he does take it, when will he leave?
3. Why is the England manager job viewed as an honor?
Is it the pay?
Is it the amount of du du that is bound to come your way?
Is it putting up with players like J. Terry?
Why on earth would Arry take it when he has carte blanche from Levy and a chance to build a team that could ,I say could, win the Euros in a couple of years time?
England won't win anything, given the way the Clubs resent lending their best players and risking injury.
