On a slightly different note what are people's opinions on the proposed Southampton match boycott? It is a category A game despite being on TV. Will there be a significant difference or will there be the usual TV crowd of maybe just less than 20,000?
Cozer,
If you've taken it from another site, it's probably best if you include a link.
How many toddlers were there on the march?
I know guys who are hardcore fans and now only go away so as not to give bates any money.
keep up the protests
Took it from a link?
You mean you weren't there then?
There was a few kids there to be honest...one of the stewards had his son with him wearing a hi vis jacket too.
it was a nice walk, i had fun. it didn't kick off.
South Leeds Yes I was there, thank you and very proud of it too.
You do come across as clever wtat
Saw the march and congrats to those who took part. Stop being divisive though ...... setting yourself up on a pedestal as a "true fan" coz you were part of it. Plenty of other fans feel just as strongly - just they realise a march won't change Bates' mentality.
I've said previously i respect the march and those who take part. don't disrespect those who didn't.

How am I disrespecting those who didn't walk.
Personally I think the march is a good thing and sends a strong message to Bates, Lorimar and Harvey.
Marching and protesting is the best way for fans to air their views and feelings, it's also the best way to eventually get the media involved.
The crowds and marchers grow, so does the media coverage, and so does the message to Bates.
If the marchers and protesters grow in number every march, eventually the pressure is on Bates, from fans and media alike.
Somewhere along line the FA may be pressurised into investigating Bates and bunch of companies he's part of, one way or the other.
Paper trails can be followed; if they come to an abrupt halt then someone's going to want to know where the missing paperwork is.
I support the marchers and protesters, sorry, but I'm to far away to join in.
Maybe those that think it's futile to march can put their own ideas into the hat.

You need to delete the word clever from one of your posts!
All power to the people that marched, solidarity brothers (and sisters!), eh?
But in all honesty to Ken Bates all you've done is walk to the game on match day.
I'm not a true LEEDS fan cos I didn't march?
Idiot
Next march from Monte Carlo bay to Ken Bates house
Can I make a suggestion to you 'protesters' don't walk to the ground protesting and moaning about how bad things are! Meet at the ground and walk into the City Centre, then instead of paying money to Bates go into the local charity shops and donate your ticket money, merchandise or programme money etc to charity!
Get the press to cover it.
The Yorkshire Post, Local TV, Radio and YEP would be all over you like a rash!
Bates would love that eh?
...and whatever the protesters raise for charity Bates will quadruple due to the kindness of the man
Well done to all those true leeds fans who marched and sang.

Cozer .... that first sentence is where the implication of disrespect sits. You're hinting that it was the "true fans" who marched and sang. Wrong, plenty of "true fans" have their own opinions on the situation and didn't see the need to march and sing. They respect why you did - and i'm one of those - but i'm just as committed to the club as you.
