If other races can't say the n-word, then neither can blacks, otherwise that is racial discrimination. You can't have it both ways. Abusing the colour of your skin is the same as abusing anything else in your appearance, so if you're going to dish it out, be prepared to take it back.

----------------------------------------------------------

"neither can blacks":

I'm sorry but you are so far out of touch with what is acceptable that you are either very thick, or deliberately trying to justify your own particular brand of 'say it like it is' racism.

Abusing the colour of someones skin is NOT the same as abusing anything else in their appearance. Utter, utter rubbish. And I'm pretty horrified that you're idiotic enough to think that.

This has actually gone far too far. I'm gonna report you if you continue with this, because there's no place for racist nonsense on here, even if it is born out of ignorance rather than intent.

No, you're so far gone and indoctrinated by the PC brigade that you are shouting racism from the rooftops when in fact it's not.

Abusing the colour of somebodies skin IS the same as abusing some other personal appearance. Just because people have built it up like it's not, doesn't mean it isn't. To think somebody is an idiot, for having a different opinion, makes you the idiot, I'm afraid.

Report me, you silly little boy. I have did no wrong. I am not racist you imbecile. Find me one comment I have made which is racist. When you do that, then report me. Take your time.

That's racist right there. You have demonstrated a complete lack of understanding over this issue. It's nothing to do with having a different opinion, it's to do with your viewpoint being completely at odds with the century you're living in. If you don't understand what is different about abusing someone because of their skin colour or because they have a big nose, then there is no hope for you, I'm afraid.

I really don't know what someone would have to do in your eyes to be viewed as a racist.

You're an aggressive, racist little idiot. I've reported you and in my opinion, you deserve to be banned.

This has gone way over the top now. I don't agree with a lot of what TOOR has said on here but I do admit I find it strange that it's socially acceptable to make fun of gingers but mention skin colour and suddenly you're a racist.

Merely voicing that opinion doesn't make me a racist and it doesn't make TOOR one either. Why is it ok to make fun of every physical attribute a person other than their skin?

No it isn't.

"You have demonstrated a complete lack of understanding"

That's obviously been you, as you don't even know what racism is, as you say it's racist to say abusing the colour of somebody's skin is no different than abusing another point of physical appearance. That isn't racism I'm afraid. And the more you shout it from the rooftops doesn't make it so either, so pipe down.

"it's to do with your viewpoint being completely at odds with the century you're living in."

That's exactly what I'm trying to get at. We have come so far and now instead of cutting out racism, we're creating it, with over-the-top PC rubbish. This is the 21st century, step into it, we're all equal and we don't have to pay for the mistakes of people in the past.

"I really don't know what someone would have to do in your eyes to be viewed as a racist."

He/she would have to treat one race differently than another.

"You're an aggressive, racist little idiot. I've reported you and in my opinion, you deserve to be banned."

I find you aggressive. In fact you've just shown yourself to be hypocritical in calling me a racist idiot etc. Deserve to be banned for what? I told you, find a racist comment, then report me and take your time trying to find one.

Here are four examples.
1
A white man won't employ anybody that isn't white and when he does he pays them half the salary. He looks down at anybody that isn't white and thinks he is superior because he is white.

2
A black man won't employ anybody that isn't black and when he does he pays them half the salary. He looks down at anybody that isn't black and thinks he is superior because he is black.

3
A white man is pointing out a man in the crowd,"it was the black guy just there".

4
A black man is in a fight with a white man, calling him every name under the sun, including racial slurs, while the white man does exactly the same thing.

Examples 1 and 2 are racist.

Example 3 is an example of something that is not racist at all.

Example 4 is racial abuse, not racism.

Please learn the crucial difference between racial abuse and racism!

You really are going to repeat this as often as possible to try to make it stick. Unfortunately for you, most people on the site are adults. This could possibly work on the Arsenal board but not here I'm afraid.

Fred makes a good point. There is a difference between racial abuse and racism and between racism and predjudice.

I can't actually believe I'm explaining this.

Abusing someone because of the colour of their skin is unacceptable because it creates a division between races, because it is identifying someone, not by their actions, but by the colour of their skin, by something that they cannot change, and shouldn't want to.

Bringing attention to skin colour is a tacit judgement. It is an unnecessary distinction and has a weight of history and meaning behind it.

I'm not condoning abuse of anyone based on anything other than their actions, but Ginger people have not had centuries of persecution as a result of being ginger.

If anyone here cannot see the difference between

"Up yours, you big-nosed ****"

and

"Up yours, you black ****"

Then I'm very surprised. And very disappointed.

Abusing somebody because of their hair colour creates divisions about something they cannot change and shouldn't want to. They are born with it.

"Bringing attention to skin colour is a tacit judgement. It is an unnecessary distinction and has a weight of history and meaning behind it. "

No it isn't. It is a discriptive, an adjective. Adding a derogative to it, is racial abuse. Without a derogative it is merely discriptive, an adjective.

"I'm not condoning abuse of anyone based on anything other than their actions, but Ginger people have not had centuries of persecution as a result of being ginger."

No but recently they have. Regardless people shouldn't pay now for what people did in the past, we don't label German's murderers and racists because of what they did in the past. People have changed, we now accept other races, so time to treat it as such and stop making it taboo, to simply mention the colour of a person's skin. We don't need to worry about what we say and walk on egg shells.

"Up yours, you big-nosed ****"

and

"Up yours, you black ****"

---------------------------------------------------
There is no difference, it's abusing somebody based on their appearance and both are unacceptable.

I think the latter stages of this post kind of confirms why some people support Suarez and some people think he was out of order. Lack of education and differing opinions of what exactly "racism" is and I guess a very fine line between yay and nay. Which in today's changing ethnic world is becoming even finer.

Racist by your own logic. You couldn't make this stuff up.

Perhaps now, you'll see how ridiculous you sound. Or does it only work one way?

Furthermore to suggest I make my comments because I am white is racial discrimination.

You have shown yourself to be quite the little racist haven't you?
