No.

Sorry, no meaning he should not play, not that he's not good enough - he's still a class apart from anyone else out there.

Poland and Ukraine for how many weeks?

I hope Scholesy tells them to do one whoever the manager is

no .
would you really want him wasting energy for England when he could be performing for us

I'm talking from an England point of view.

United, like all clubs, should be willing to put England first.

I'd like to see it... I don't think he will sign another year with us and it would be good to see him in an England shirt one last time.

Still utter class and would bring a much needed calm to our possession and play.

He still seems to have more ability than many of Englands more talked-about midfielders. Coming out of retirement and slotting straight back in proves his raw natural ability.

Amazing to think Chelsea fans think Lampard is better

i don't know what i'd do if england won the euro's. probably emigrate, or something.

No he shouldn't!

Anyone else think though that if Scholes started the Chelsea game, we would have won it?

Giggs was our worst player on Saturday again for me. Gave the ball away far too much. Had Scholes started against Chelsea instead of Ryan, I think we would have won it!

Agree again Jez...

yes.

For himself.

He will retire at the end of the season so the Euros would be his swansong. If he did agree to go back he would no doubt play in CM (where SGE refused to let him play) and they should make him Captain for the tournament.

How apt to finish a great career.

I have been saying this since his return. England have no other player who can control a game like Scholes, this is undeniable.

If Wilshere is not fit, who do we play in this role?

I think if, (as many are suggesting) Redknapp only takes charge for the Euro’s, he’d be stupid not to ask Paul Scholes to play. Let’s face it our midfield lacked any technique and invention in the WC and since he has been back playing for us, he’s been outstanding.

Let’s not forget Scholsey admitted he regrets not playing in SA….if given the right role he would jump at the chance imo.

"He plays like a Spaniard - he can play like Xavi, like Iniesta, he doesn't give the ball away."

No Harry, Spanish players play like Scholes

I think if invited he should go, I also think he will be playing for us next season.

I rather cleverly plays, teams like germany will counter with deadly effect.

Thing is, we might use the ball to greater effect with somebody like Scholes in there rather than Barry And don't forget the likes of Parker will be playing.
