I get it CP good goals no doubt but honestly Steven Fletcher scored a much much better goal this weekend! But we hear nothing of that. Is it Rooney? English media? Importance of match? I don't know what it is but the praise is not proportionate and its slightly irritating even as a United fan!
The English media overhype anything to do with the Rooneys, Terrys and Ferdinands of this world because they are or were integral England players. Fletcher isn't in the squad so why would they bother?

Lets be honest fellas, Messi is a living legend, simply amazing! 2 years younger but everything Rooney will never be in 3 lifetimes! If he were English or played for Man U?....................A 4th WPOTY award is coming soon. He just scored another goal and assist tonight!
Rooney's work rate, skill & determination Win us lots of games. He's the best player in the EPL. Everyone knows it. Man UTD wouldn't be the force that we are without him & SAF knew that when he persuaded him to stay last year.
