I believe his still one of the best young english manager out there atm
Generations of Leeds fans maybe
What a load of rubbish
No where near top 2 in 2 seasons and could not get in top 6
I believe his still one of the best young english manager out there atm
--------------------
it's bizarre the fans criticised him when those statistics clearly prove he was getting the best out of a non- budget. Like the David Moyes of the Championship.
Generations of Leeds fans maybe
-------------------------
Don't be pessimistic, he used to do the same to Chelsea fans
I think that you have to take that table with a pinch of sodium considering it was compiled from data published by "thetransfermarket.com".
I think his record and achievements combined with the added pressures of managing a "sleeping giant" in Leeds say that he is an excellent young manager.
I think he will continue to be successful.
He wasn't the best manager at all, statistics don't count for everything, Grayson needed to be sacked and it's nothing but a good thing that he's gone, people think that if they look at stats they know everything about everything!
We all know he wasn't perfect, but those stats speak for themselves.
Looking forward to seeing if the next manager can at the very least match Grayson's record with this set of very average players.
... after all I was promised the "rescue and salvation" of Leeds United by Bates, Harvey and all the Grayson haters on here only 2 weeks ago
statistics don't count for everything.

No. but they are good at showing how much a squad has cost.
The whole squad cost £1.4million, top two is impossible for any manager on that budget. Getting near the play-offs was an impressive feat.
That website is worded ever
They put spin on stuff better then bates does.
If so good why did he do rock all at Blackpool?
And a full years worth of football and still could not get in top 6!!!

......................
Its called overachieving with an average team.
Holloway followed it on at Blackpool. Now Redfearn is following it on at leeds........ no wait he isnt!!!
you can't put Redfearn in the same league as Holloway can you?
Holloway cleaned his mess up and turned it around
Same thing got happen here!!
imo SG did really well for us in the first two years, also did a great job at Blackpool...
he lost his way this season and the nature of the beast being a football manager is that you don't get many chances.... it was right for him to go as I think he lost the dressins room... it is hard to come back when that happens
cleaned his mess how??
By getting Blackpool relegated from the prem?
Maybe you mean the fact that Blackpool are now 4th in the championship, but Grayson had us 4th in the league plenty times last season, current league position doesn't mean dck til the last weekend of the season.
You're either a Hudders fan or just a complete imbecile and I can't wait to ram it down your throat when the next manager comes in and fails to get anything better than midtable out of this limited set of players.
They had never seen the prem with Grayson you fool!!!!!

....
So you want us to fail to show am wrong?
Dear me.
I thought Grayson got Blackpool promoted? and his foundations got Blackpool in the prem!
O'Dreary lost the dressing room too apparently, but did we improve under Venables and Reid the following season??
Grayson is a flawed manager, no doubt, but in our financial situation, sometimes it's better the devil you know...
Really wish Blue and others were proved right, with a new good proven manager coming in, but just can't see it happening.
Bluememe, but you and some others wanted us to fail under SG so he would get the sacked.
Grayson is a flawed manager
.............
Do you mean that Grayson has flaws or that he is entirely flawed?
------------------------------
All this pro grayson anti grayson stuff is complete nonsense. The sensible folk on here can identify the things SG did right and the things he did wrong.......... then the numpties attempt to hijack reasonable debate with comments like "he was the worst manager of all time" etc.
YNBK you are correct, their playoff against Bardiff had 10 of larrys players in the team
Bluememe, but you and some others wanted us to fail under SG so he would get the sacked.
...........
There is no point in trying to reason with meme due to the fact he is a completely unreasonable buffoon!
The majority of Grayson's players were loanees which cost nothing in transfer fees but shedloads in wages.
Add that data into your table and Grayson is nowhere near any definition of value for money.
It says it all when meme fabricates "the mess" that grayson left at blackpool!
deary me!

Is Grayson the best Championship manager?
