. The problem with grayson was too much short termism, as can be seen with the amount of loans and old has beens like obrien and brown.

According to Hudders fans, Clark is exactly the same type of manager!.... except unlike Grayson he hasn't got 2 promotions to his name....

1 step forward, 2 steps back, great work Bates & Harvey, fkn clowns!!!!

Also no chance will the fans at this football club be "patient", patience simply isn't part of a Leeds fans vocabulary...

If you think the fans at ER will be happy to watch us sit in midtable for 2 years, as long as we play attractive football and blood lots of youngsters, then keep fkn dreaming!!!

Gary Mac already tried that and got the sack and a lot of abuse.

Just what I think.

Don't get me wrong it's risky but am open to it

Gary mac was doing everthing right, just couldn't sort the defence out, a real shame

Looking back Grayson and macca didn't help themselves with poor choices has assistants

You may be right. I am just worried that managers such as warnock and mick mccarthy may be able to get you into the prem but with quick solutions so that in a few years down the line we will be in a similar position. A manager in the mould of poyet, brendan rogers and Lambert. Teams that play good football without any superstars.

Although a certain amount of vision must come from the top. Which at leeds we don't have. Which leads you to feel that a lot wont change on the pitch unless things at the very top do.

Spot on that's exactly what we need, is Clark that person am not sure.

The teams that go up, normally play good football, them that don't and go up, come back down

Truth is, the Gary Mac footballing experiment could genuinely have worked for us.... BUT it would probably have taken 2 seasons of rebuilding in midtable in League 1, which would have been totally unacceptable to the fans.

Grayson on the otherhand, was a results at all costs type manager, in order to get instant results you only have so much time to blood new players.

Same with Trappatoni and Ireland, very results orientated, irish fans still moan about him, but he's qualified them for the first major tournament in 10years ffs

Larry

It would have worked if he had signed a decent centre half

If you concede at will, it just puts pressure on the team.

All the best players barring gradel was before Grayson, just signed a couple of good centre halfs and then he nearly balled it up

But the thing is Leeds were a massive club compared to those in League one. Our attendances and revenue outstripped everyone elses.

However in the championship we are not. We are a big club, attendance and history wise, but dont have the finances of teams such as Leicester and maybe even Ipswich nor the parachute payments of West ham etc

But who Thomas, its alright rubbishing all these mangers. But realistically who we going to get. Surely if we were going to get Warnock we would have got him by now. Its been two weeks since Grayson was sacked.

Look if it looked like the team had a chance of promotion this seaason Id want Warnock or Mccarthy. But it doesn't. The team isn't good enough. we havent played well since howson got injured.

We should bring in a man with a long term vision. I doubt whether these two managers have it. Maybe as has been said before clarke doesn't. But im all for an up and coming youngish manager who may have done a good job in the lower leagues

Also hopefully whoever comes in has a good scouting network. Cos the one at Leeds at the moment is awful!

I would be ecstatic if we got Poyet. I think Poyet wants to come but a probable reason he wont is because he doesn't want to be known as disloyal, which up until now in his career he has been.
