"have the rules changed on here and everything has to be backed up by factual evidence?"
Are you uncomfortable with people asking you to back up what you claim? It seems a fair enough request to me. Besides, what Celtic, according to some Rangers fans on here, got up to a couple of decades ago hardly applies to what Rangers are getting up to TODAY.

im not comparing the 80s to now , i was asking if these guys had a problem with their own club diddling the tax man

i think ginger is an auld cant too!
Rangers are shower of arrogant self serving rogues and will bring down the game or whether they die.
An anachronism in modern day society.
Hang about for the next Old Firm game then die
What Celtic may or may have not have done decades ago does not compare to what is happening at rangers just now. The severity is orders of magnitude above that, it's like comparing bumping someone out the way in central station to brutally bludgeoning them with the tin of soup you have for lunch.
Maybe I exaggerate.
Ted, it was brought up so, being an aul cant, I'm giving you the benefit of my age and wisdom, irrelevant as it might be.

You don't see the difference from diddling your profits to avoid paying the tax man too much, than taking it off players wages and not handing it over?

Yea all over them playing well milan!
It has EVERYTHING to do with their hatred of Rangers, plain and simple.
One thing that has been sadly overlooked in this sordid affair, is the human side of the story. The job losses among the ordinary 'stiffs' who rely on clubs and businesses like Rangers FC and Celtic FC for their 'daily bread'.
I'm not talking here about the players, staff or workers at Ibrox itself, but the people who work to supply the club with it's day to day workings, the tradesmen, retailers and other merchants, the delivery people and the hundreds of others whose jobs will be in jeopardy if the walls do indeed crumble as so many celtic fans and the anti-Rangers groups are praying for.
So the next time any of you out there with blinkers on sit down to have another kick at the 'Gers, think for a minute about those folk (a great many of whom are quite likely better Celtic 'fans' than you) who will be severely affected by what you hope for.

If Celtic diddled the tax man a couple of decades ago then it was wrong but... what if they did? It's not relevant in 2012.
I think one thing all this has shown is that Rangers in the SPL is not sustainable as a business. Perhaps it is now time Rangers and Celtic merge to form just one Glasgow club as clearly two is not working. What do people think? Have I found the answer to this mess?
