I said this months ago, Avb should not allow Torres to define his reign at CFC, now sadly his job is on the line. This Torres saga will serve as a big lesson for clubs in Europe in years to come, how a single, overrated, over paid, incompetent player can disrupt or ruin a club.
Now the Chelsea ship is fast sinking, with Avb's reign at the helm in Jeopardy. Roman is prowling around with his finger on the trigger and no one has the balls or wisdom to point acussing fingers at Torres. Rubbish, I say it again.
torres is our problem, not avb
Has Torres hypnotised AVB into playing Bosingwa, quite possibly the worst footballer I've ever seen?
Its your opinion. You are entitled to it. I would imagine like me most chelsea fans think thats bollox. Torres is a brilliant striker. Just look at any of the vid compilations.
Its the managers job to use the assets, play the players to get the best out of them. AVB has so far failed in this respect. We need to give him more time, i dont want to sack him just yet. As for Torres , he needs service, he's not getting that from our woeful midfield, and Sturridge way too selfish/greedy, sees him as a rival not as a team mate who he needs to work with .
Again thats AVB's job to sort Sturridge out.
I believe our biggest mistake was to loan Yossi to Arsenal. Pre season when Yossi and Torres were on together, they were magic. This alliance built at anfield was not permitted to grow. i know foreign allotment and all that. Banking on Mereiles has not paid off so far.
Torres will come good and Brummie will have to take em off at Debenhams!
Torres's Fault = Not take the one half chance he gets in the whole 90 Minutes.
AVB's Fault = Play Cole when we have bertran. Play Bosingwa when we have IVA, Play Malouda when we could have given kakuta a chance to develop down the left. can't kick people in the back to start performing
Torres is a brilliant striker. Just look at any of the vid compilations

I presume he's wearing a red shirt with Carlsberg sprawled on the front.
If Torres has been half as good as Aguero or Balotelli I won't be complaining, we spend big money and get nothing in return and deluded fans keep blaming avb, did avb or sturridge stop him shooting against Utd a forthnight ago or did lampard prevent him from putting the ball in the net against Utd after he has rounded the keeper. Those two misses could easily have caused us 6 points.
We are not shying away from the truth, because the truth is that we don't know how Torres would perform here with the right service. Some of his link-up play has been sharp, and he has shown that he can improvise well even though it has meant coming out of his main position. I would rate his ability and concentration miles ahead of Bosingwa and Malouda if you are looking for people to blame.
If he had the right service and more chances consistently rather than snatches here and there but still fell short, then patience would run out, but I think he has been starved of opportunity by a team that plays slowly and sideways too much of the time.
still more escuses for him
Why do you keep changing your name? Why do you also keep changing your stance on AVB and Torres? When do you think you'll stop?
Let's hear your excuses for our pattern of play and the contributions of Bosingwa and Malouda then.
Listen, I am frustrated by his scoring rate as much as you, I was not making excuses for him, I just don't know how you can judge him intelligently and fairly when he is not getting the kind of service that he got when he was prolific. I would rather give Sturridge a chance in the middle right now, but that is not necessarily because Torres is THE problem as you suggest, more that he does not suit our current style of play.
Name change for Mr Capello.
We'll have him back for 15M if you like?
