I'm really warming to this idea of us signing Nasri. I remember wishing we'd got him in the first place, so if we can snap him up for around the £15m mark I'd be delighted.

Well, 50 million spent, and still no central midfielder. Could we actually break 70 million this summer??

Yes, it's certainly possible we could break £70m.
Problem is, I still don't think we'll match Barcelona. So the best we can do is dominate in England, which we kind of did anyway last season by winning the league.

You won't get Modric. Levy has made a statement to the world that he won't be sold, at any price. He simply cannot back down, now. Also, despite what the Spurs-hating The Daily Fail said, it was revealed that Modric is not angling for a move away from the club; he merely said that he wants to stay in London and that if, at some time in the future, an offer was made that was acceptable to Spurs, he would consider moving on. That is no more than any top player would say. Having signed a 6 year contract last season, he's unlikely to want to put in a transfer request. Also, what's the betting that Levy offers him a new contract and makes him our highest ever paid player? And, in any event, United is the very last club that Levy will ever do any business with, not after the Berbatov affair. If he does go, it will be to the Chavs.
No, you're much better off looking at Nasri as your creative midfielder. You'll pick him up cheap, and he's almost as good as Modric. In fact, I wouldn't mind him at Spurs

Fab is DEFINITELY leaving Arsenal. He's been left out of promotional material for the forthcoming season.
That means that Nasri definitely will not stay there.
If Fergie is going to make a bid for him, now is the time to do it.
