Wiish I could find the "Mary Whitehouse experience" clip on youtube where they lampooned the USA view of football.
Epitomises my sentiments about their understanding of the beautiful game.

No, no, no, no, no, no, no
Im not smart enough to comment on this potential Takeover but i just wanted to say that
There's no limits.
Would never have had grandspurs down as a 2Unlimited fan.
I want klaxons and fireworks everytime we score. And when we win, Ledley King stands in the centre circle firing six shooters in the air!
Yee Haw!!
You wouldn't be able to take the moral highground if you suddenly got a rich owner who was willing to invest in your club.
Neither would you be able to go on a wild spending spree because of the FFP rules that you're all so in favour of.

Those 2 statements are Oxymoron's, are they not
Not really, the septics might be willing but Platini would put a block on it.

Of course we would, if their money was only being spent on stuff like the new stadium.
The day to day running of the FOOTBALL CLUB can continue as it has.
Wait till American owners control the majority of Premiership clubs, thats when the proverbial will hit the fan.
No relegation a break every fifteen minutes (just for the advertising)referees in bar-code shirts taking order by radio link from the owner, popcorn will be force fed to fans and no chanting whatsoever,Cheerleaders in the sponsors uniforms.
Anything else feel free to add.
Would they though? Liverpool are no nearer to getting a new stadium despite having wealthy American owners for the last few years.
"Anything else feel free to add"
KO at midnight.
And that's the equivalent of the Sky "midday" match.
"Would they though?"
Didn't say they would ??
Merely told you what financial activities would still allow a moral high ground to be taken.
if they put an S at the end of our name i will get angry

You can have slack Alice, like it or lump it.
The PL has been taken over by foreign managers and players so why not a foreign owner of Spurs? Come on in and take us BACK to the top.
I don't like the idea. Not good for Spurs or English football. I take pride in the fact we're one of the few English-owned PL teams around.
Stupid Americans!
"Not good for Spurs or English football."
What is good for English football is financially prudent top clubs, coupled with an ingrown player production line.
As owners go, you don't want Sugga Daddy FCs, nor those whose commercial operations are morally/socially unsavoury to the general public.
