Your real name is not Amir Akmal is it? father of seven Akmal boys.
so does younis khan not have a space in your odi team amir?
Amir that team has far too many Akmals in it. If your playing Kamran then there is no need to have Adnan in team. My team:
Jamshed

No, I wouldn't have Younis simply because I think he should make way so the younger crop can prove a point in the ODI format.
As for having too many Akmal's, very true yes, but I would not want Kamran keeping again, no chance. Either he plays as a batsman or a player like Jamshed opens... Adnan is the ideal person to keep and bat low down. I don't think Pakistan should change that, nor should they drop Umar... So whatever happens at least two Akmal's should play...
Khan appitimeses what is wrong with our batting. When the chips are down and we need something off him he bottles it in the shorter format. He has 6 or 7 tons out of 200 plus one dayers which says it all and 2 were against Bengis and one against Hong Kong.
As for Adnan he dropped Morgan yesterday in the same way Umar dropped Cook in 2nd game. We don't need him in team cos his batting is not up to scratch.
What ever you guys do, don't start playing great until you have let us go home again
Once we have gone, feel free to hammer everybody else, I would love that.
Pakistan is now my second favourite cricket team and I will be with you all the way, after Tuesday lol
Pakistan your 2nd favourite team??? how come maksi?
Really enjoyed the company of all Pakistan fans on here over the past year or so. Pakistan as a cricket team are unpredictable and never dull and on occasions play amazingly good cricket.
I simply do not have a bad word to say about that team, and despite all their troubles, which is down to a few individuals, they bounce back, keep their chin up and surprise everybody. That series whitewash earlier knocked me off my feet. I was seriously expecting to do exactly that to Pakistan. Respect.
Respect back Maski... And I hope you teach those Indians a lesson... That would be brilliant
1. Mohammad Hafeez
2. Kamran Akmal
3. Shafiq
4. Umar Akmal
5. SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!!
6. Hammad Azam
7. Shahid Afridi
8. Adnan Akmal (W/K)
9. Umar Gul
10. Saeed Ajmal
11. Wahab Riaz/ Junaid
Maxsi, did you watch sachins innings today? I watched him come out to the crease but then blinked - so missed it all
hahahahahaha I know he was caught but brave of the umpire to give him out on his first "life"
I hope england manage to convince the indians to use the DRS for the test end of year - you'll need it!!!

Is your chacha going to captain the team? Misbah is one of our best players; we need him when the likes of Finn are ripping through the top order. Plus, I reckon Azhar Ali is a far better batsman than Shafiq, so I rather have Azhar Ali in the side. Facing two new balls requires good technique and out of all our young batsman, Umar Akmal and Azhar Ali have the best technique. So, I'd have Azhar at 3 and Umar at 4...
As for Sachin... he came out thinking he's going to get his 100th hundred then Lee hit him on the head first up, then he realised... Plus, I must say Tendulkar's footwork in this series has been fantastic, his foot movement whilst walking back to the pavilion has been something special!
Amir - my youngest chacha is about 42, not far off from misbahs age and can probably run and think faster than him. On a series note, i want pakistan to have a longer term strategy rather than short term, lets work towards the world cup. Misbah is fine for test matches.... but are you seriously suggesting he stays in the team because of captaincy - you ought to look at Afridis ODI record as captain..... he got us to semis less than a year ago.......................................

Pakistan need to eliminate nepotism and create a structure along international lines.Talent wise, there is not much of a problem but Pakistan has been structurally weak and if we sort it out, long run looks good.
Waqar Younis did mention they need to groom a young captain for the WC, but atm in time keep Misbah in the ODI team.
Yes, I'd agree after the T20 WC this year Pakistan should selelct a younger captain for the T20 format then gradually give him the ODI captaincy...though, atm keep Misbah. He's our saviour.

On paper their ODI side looks reasonably strong.Best all round bowling attack, couple of hardhitters and couple who can potentially bat all day unbeaten. If they start taking shorter format seriously, IMO they will win next World Cup.
Couldn't agree more PR. England will fancy themselves at the next world cup, they have minimal problems compared to some of the other teams. Most of their players will be at thier peak in 2015 too. They'll be the team to beat, alongside the Aussies!!!
Afridi , have u read neon's yet another masterpiece.Good read.
He's on filter, let me guess about Pakistan losing to england, or spot fixing?? . Whatever it is, probably just frustration, think he'll be going to pick hid pension up at the post office tomorrow, tht should cheer up the old fella
Guessed it right. Enlightening all of us with spot fixing.
