few mentions of Drive here, watched it last week. The film is great, but the soundtrack is IMMENSE. Makes the film I think!

Shawshank comes up in so many people's list of favourites, makes me wonder is there anyone who doesn't like that film?!

I can't seperate Godfather and Goodfellas and love them differently. Godfather for the depth of the characters and Goodfellas for the fast-paced narrative that just seems to fly by.

Avatar?<spits>
I'd go for Lion King, Finding Nemo and one of the Disney fairytales "Beauty and the Beast" (seriously underrated and Oscar worthy).

Which one?

Now I liked the original with but I just couldn't take to the Scorsese remake, mainly as I thought De Niro wasn't a patch on Robert Mitchum as the psycho... Speaking of Robert Mitchum I advise anyone who hasn't seen Night of the Hunter to watch it asap, classic film.

I came out of the cinema genuinely sad that I would never be able to live in Avatar world.

And I'm a 29 year old bloke

Loved that film.

31 - actually, I've never managed to bring myself to watch Pearl Harbour, just heard terrible things about it!

The best thing Michael Bay ever made was 'bad boys'. Which wasnt' particularly great in my opinion....

Hated Avatar with a passion. I'm not a big fan of the director James Cameron, he's another who tends to be more style than substance.

I thought Ice Age was pretty boring tbh...

Finding Nemo is quality.

Don't really like 300...bit ridiculous.

Also, am I alone in thinking the Hurtlocker was sooooo boring?

I'm glad people are putting up some of the old films ....Just because they are not full of CGI and effects doesn't mean they aren't brilliant......John Waynes final film "The Shootist" was superb as was a few Paul Newman films like The sting and Cool Hand Luke

Philspurs, literally, the scenes with the planes attacking pearl harbour are good purely for the special effects, the rest of the film is awful.

You haven't missed a thing.

Best soundtrack for me is Full Metal Jacket. But then I love that periods music.
