The early Only Fools & Horses were funny, but it just went on to long, by the end it was as stupid and unfunny as Last of the Summer wine.

Talking of Summer Wine if you see the really early seasons on Dave (or is it Gold?) they all smoke all the time, it looks so odd now!

Originally made for Ireland but as if they were going to let anyone mock the church in those days so they sold it to channel 4 and hey presto.

Used to love Red Dwarf. Went a bit stale at the end though. They doing a 10th series apparently on Dave this year.

Fari enough then, I thought it was made for Channel 4, either way, still a great comedy.

Both IT and Father Ted were made by one of the same people.

And just in case noone has mentioned it yet.

Alan Partridge.

Yep, a big favorite of mine. Superbly scripted, some of the surreal situations Victor finds himself are side splitting.

Till Death Us Do Part with Alf Garnett is also a classic.

Fawlty Towers is possibly the best of the lot and they stopped because they felt they had to leave people wanting more.

Early Fools & Horses, favourite scenes were Del Boy in wine bar & the Batman & Robin scenes.............Hilarious!!

Frasier was also good, Two and a Half Men with Sheen, not as funny now with Kutcher, just okay.

One most of you would not remember was Ever Decreasing Circles broadcast in the mid to late 80's. Starred Richard Briers & Peter Egan, it was a very funny show with some great acting from the characters, unusual in that it had an almost dark side to parts of it.

The ending was perfect, when they found the watch and became millionaires. It was a DISGRACE that they went back for more. Makes me sad to think about.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

tbh that ending was good, but I think it had been getting weaker for a while before.

At the risk of sounding a bit girlie "Dinnerladies" is great. "I'm just having a fa=g!"

Oh please, I'm not allowed to write fa=g!

Talking of Richard Briers, wasn't Tom Good a smug, self righteous git.
