how could I forget about Dad's Army
-------
Stupid boy
Not a comedy obviously, but some of the lines in the Stargate TV series were brilliantly funny.
Jackson: "So, push on blindly then."
Jack: "Blindly, yes. But we still have our slightly heightened sense of smell."
All people of all ages on here and yet to me you have missed the finest of them all, and here are my reasons why.
They took 3 unknown actors, put them into uncharted waters, took politics the most boring subject on earth, and made it hillarious, Gentlemen I give you;
Yes Minister, and Yes Prime minister, English comedy at its finest
the young ones ...... bottom
If those listed Only Fools and Horses by far, followed by Fawlty Towers and then Porridge. The other two are carp
I don’t know about you but im quite enjoying the comedy ‘Arsenal’ at the moment
LAA, yes a great comedy I must agree
Liverpool are below us prankster Woy > Queen Kennald

The Office was/is genius.

Am i alone in thinking Ricky Gervais is the most overated man on TV?
Every era has it's own gems, M.A.S.H, Cheers, Fr Ted, Fawlty, Porridge, Open All Hours, Dad's Army, The Royle Family, Drop the Dead Donkey, Rising Damp, Phoenix Nights, Alan Partridge, Friends, Seinfeld, The Simpsons...................................
It's funny though how the classic episodes stand the test of time but catch a ropey one on Dave and it spoils the memory of a great show.
Max and Paddy's road to nowhere was legendary.
OFAH takes this one down easily.
Other worthy mentions; Red Dwarf, Alan Partridge
Out of those Fawlty Towers is the funniest and one of my favourites. OFAH is good but I prefer the earlier episodes. It went downhill after the women came in.
My favourite of all time would be out of I'm Alan Partridge and The Simpsons up to series 10.
Steptoe and Son.
