Even Sturridge is beginning to look poor
We are in the process of re-building a team yet we're still in the Fa cup, the champions league and joint 4th in the league.
We should be mid-table and out of everything yet we're not.
AVB is doing a amazing job and we should be happy with this season, obviously it's a nightmare we are dogs'hit at the moment but it will be like that untill the summer.

we're still relying on players that are getting older and older , drogba and co are over the hill and should be a support act at best , I do like the additions we have brought in the last couple of seasons , but the club is paying for only being interested in short term succsess.
we've just gone too long without buying a play maker for midfield , and a winger that knows how to cross. , luxury players are a waste of time if there running into the box only for Bosingwa to cross to a defender , or sturrage to never pass and just shoot.
They are an awful squad of players, both in ability and attitude.
AVB has no power when compared to other managers too.
Therefore, we are 5th and trophyless.

I am not sure what needs to be done but villas boas is partly to blame not handling the old guard well enough, now they do not want to play for him and we have to depend on useless players like meireles, malouda, cahill and louise.

Look at Liverpool. They've been absoulete awful in the past few years but Kenny has slowly re-built them and is getting them back to competing and winning trophies. Re-building takes a season or two.

Lets face it their replacements meireles, ramires, sturridge will never be able to lace their shoes and are not chelsea standard.
i can just see another team coming in with a bid for mat, the only real creative player in the 1st team.
watching kakuta do wonders at dijon makes me think our set up is in real trouble.
ramires is a good player but makes too many mistakes and when you expect him to be calm he bottles it, his control has improved but he still is very raw and might never be able to step up.

The guy is clueless, I've been saying this for a while.
People can blame Luiz and individual defensive errors all they want but as someone who has played in midfield and defence in compeititive football I can assure you it isn't easy playing when you are under threat for 90 minutes with no defensively capable players supporting you and that is down to AVB.
Why didn't we get Hiddink in when we had the chance? We've missed the boat and we're stuck with him now as he takes us further down.
