Drogba is a cheerleader. That's fine when harmony in the camp

AVB is using what he has available, Mikel has been injured/out of favour, Essien only getting back to full fitness. In relation to subs, AVB is limited by what is available, If Mata comes off, all he has is Malouda, Kalou, Mikel, can't fault him on that.

DFed up of drogba. Having a go at the crowd etc.
He chooses when he wants to play. When the going gets tough wheres drogba? diving around in Italy thats where

Why, is Napoli near the wreck? Oh we were the wreck

soccer?lol.

I can understand the reasoning behind subbing Mata, he's our best player and our only creative outlet. If he gets injured, we are pretty much farked. On top of that, he is an automatic starter for each and every game.

What do you mean?? You talking about instances where the ball go out for a corner and Drogba will start waving his arm to spur us on and get us cheering??

If so, that kinda thing frustrates me, especially from a team who are playing so lazy themselves.

TCP

That'll be the world class Kevin Davies that was selected for an England cap a couple of years ago eh

Yeah.

How come England never do well ?

GG thats exactly it.
I wouldnt mind if it was JT or even Luiz but drogba is epitomises the word lazy.
He only plays in spurts and then he runs about for 30 seconds and might win a corner and expects the crowd to be G'd up despite another first half of watchign paint dry

mmm YEA. But to be honest I still get annoyed when Luiz does it, because hes not perfect all game. Plus I would rather him put the effort to spur on his team mates rather than his the fans who are suffering from watching dire football.

Bottom line is, I don't want any player doing this unless the TEAM are showing more effort than the crowd.

I said it b4, its not right to bench frank, dd for the likes of Meireles and Torres. Its insulting.

GG i have not seen luiz do it tbh? but take your word for it.
We have a notoriously lazy team though. Last grafter we had was ballack. unless you still count Frank

Lampard has been crap this season and his approach to being phased out the team (quite rightly) has been really disappointing.
--------------------------------------------------------------
I can´t agree with this!

He has had some bad games añd some good games.

When Miereles was playing well early on in the season, Lampard was rightly on the bench, but in the last two months Miereles is not fit to wear the shirt and I have been embarrassed by the fact that he plays for Chelsea.

Lampard has contributed a lot more so far this season than Miereles, despite the fact that he is in decline.

Drogba put iñ a big shift oñ Saturday, it is just that some times this seasoñ...........eg Wigañ, he was a disgrace!

The first 12 games of the season Frank started and finished 10 of those games, also the 1st half against Utd but did not feature v Swansea

I think when we hit a sticky patch, Boas and Frank fell out

Do you guys ever thought why Merieles performances dropped??

Of course these big egos dont make life easy for new players especially if they are there to replace them

Its a crap dressing room atm. Drogba and the african/french lads, the portuguese brazilian crew and then you got the english lads. its pretty much broken

posted on 27/2/12

Well even I bought that theory, a top player has the mental toughness to overcome such challenges.........

The better theory is that Miereles is not a very good player!

posted on 27/2/12

Not thinking much about it but Merieles goal against city, when he celebrated with Bosingwa reminds me that he want to leave this club.

Yossi shipped out for no reason and could have provided cover for Mata as well

I don't buy this theory that Lampard pop up with goals and Drogba does the same.

Other teams don't have these 2 but are more successful and cohesive.

A hardworking or creative midfielder would provide more than enough compare to Lamps.

We've always relied on Frank and Drogba. Not plan b for years. Everyone one else around them suffered a bit just for them

Well Meireles is just rubbish. I new he was hyped up when he first signed and still think the same now. Never wanted the guy in a blue shirt. Terrible signing. Waste of money.
