VC! Where have you been?

Vidic - You can't solely put the blame on the agents, every player has a brain and it's not rocket science to workout which club is bigger, United or Juventus?

posted on 2/3/12

Pretty sure Juve are top of Serie A so theyre not exactly bad.

However, cant see the Krasic rumour being true.

Fisherunited - Yeah but which club is bigger Juventus or United. If you propose that question to any neutral I am pretty sure that pretty much all of them would say United.

Put it this way, would Pogba be demanding more than the club were prepared to offer were it not for his agent?

I doubt it. Remember, it is all about money to these agents. They get a cut from the player.

It's Talksport - enough said.

They're not even a decent team anymore, all I can think of is because of the money. - Second in Serie A with a game in hand over AC Milan and they're not a decent team? What would your definition of "decent" be then?

I think Pogba will end up staying, I think Utd need to try keep this lad hes gonna become world beater. That's what I think

The agent has no doubt influenced things. Can't see where the Krasic thing comes from. As far as I can see, Pogba is able to leave at the end of the season, for minimal compensation and United can do nothing about it. So why would the Serbian be part of any deal? Doesn't make sense to me.

Juve are joint top of serie a last time I looked? They're still good.

The point I am trying to make is Juve are not a football powerhouse like United, so going to Juve will be a step down. Surely Pogba could realise this with his own aided senses.. No?

Playing first team football > not playing first team football for a young player and if he's been promised this as well as the wage he wants no matter how big a club Man Utd are for his career he may feel its the best move.

posted on 2/3/12

Andy - Fair point, but there is no guarantee he will play first team football I mean look at Ravel Morrison, his not exactly a first team regular at West Ham is he?

posted on 2/3/12

AOM

Dont think he is match fit, he didnt train properly for months before he left.

As for pogba, number of reasons why he could leave, money, better chance of foirst team football at juve, maybe he simply doesnt fancy england after being here a couple of years and thinks turins more to his personal taste's.

posted on 2/3/12

Stretty - Re: Morrison. That's a good point didn't think of that.

I think it will be a big blow if we lose Pogba.

posted on 2/3/12

Juve may be top of serie a but they're small fry compared to United and as for all these stories about paul pogba wanting to leave, IF they're true then see you later mate, it's hardly going to be the downfall of Manchester United if a player who's had some good games for the reserves wants to chase the money elsewhere.

Stretty good point there !
