Well got to get ready to go to the match, but LIW the answer is yes. But I didn't say he doesn't know, but he will be dealing with a lawyer/solicitor for the owners as least.
The investment decision will be based on if it makes money not on who owns the ground. I'm assuming we will repurchase before the lease runs out. Don't forget it has about 17 years to run and we will have new owners by then

Cas
So you would have spent 7m not knowing who owned it and how secure they were, how dodgy they were or were not ?????
And why do you keep saying bout income streams and investment being based on money in than who owns it to me, I've never questioned that
I've never said it wrong to do itam just saying no way does ken bates not know who owns it
If ER is facing higher rent it's cos Bates belongs to the company that is charging us rent.
If Bates doesn't know who the owners are, how did he become CEO?
Why didn't Bates buy back Thorp Arch when he had the chance at a cheaper price?
Why is Bates building Hotels and not a decent team?
Why does Bates say he's building a club first and a team second?
Why is Bates rattled by LUST's protests and media letters etc?
The list goes on.
If some people can't see what Bates is doing, they never will.
It would be nice if fans would have a rest from
demonising the present chairman and save it for the
next chairman...and the paradigm is...that they will!

For some, it justifies their existence.
How does a club with no assets
Get a 60-80m loan to make a hotel?
Can Any tell me this?
Excatly Meme
But you have people like Cas would thinks bates doesn't have a clue who owns it
You couldn't write it
LIW, again I haven't said he doesn't know. I actually said he probably does. You asked a question does he have to know to do the investment?
So you need assets to get a buisness loan? Plus Meme where did he say the club would be putting up the full money as I read it the building of any hotel (which still hasn't been agreed) would be with a partner, ie Premier Inns.
Think some people need to learn to read before writing.
CasWhite
Oh you've done it now!
I can see the headlines now 'Premier Inns in Huge Hotel Investment Conspiracy'
Cas
You would without doubt need assets to go against a big business loan. And banks are very carefull these days
And premier inn is a mile away so wouldnt be them and I've never read it's with a partner.
Infact if it is, ita pointless because the club would get very little from it.
Well it was mentioned early on that it could be with a partner.
Note you haven't mentioned this time I said Bates didn't know who owned ER. Silent apology accepted
£7 million, why?
It is not as if fans will pay the Bates prices
LIW...
Do you think there are any partners involved?

Cas, why dont you just ask Krasner himself instead of slagging him off?
Jonty, what would he tell me? How he made a right mess of it!!! He was slagging offshore companies on the TV when talking about Bates but sold both ER and TA to ................. mmm offshore companies.
I thought they were sold to Manchester's Jacob alder
Cas, why don't you ask him and find out instead of bleating about him.
