Well got to get ready to go to the match, but LIW the answer is yes. But I didn't say he doesn't know, but he will be dealing with a lawyer/solicitor for the owners as least.
The investment decision will be based on if it makes money not on who owns the ground. I'm assuming we will repurchase before the lease runs out. Don't forget it has about 17 years to run and we will have new owners by then

And why do you keep saying bout income streams and investment being based on money in than who owns it to me, I've never questioned that

If ER is facing higher rent it's cos Bates belongs to the company that is charging us rent.

If Bates doesn't know who the owners are, how did he become CEO?

Why didn't Bates buy back Thorp Arch when he had the chance at a cheaper price?

Why is Bates building Hotels and not a decent team?

Why does Bates say he's building a club first and a team second?

Why is Bates rattled by LUST's protests and media letters etc?

The list goes on.

If some people can't see what Bates is doing, they never will.

LIW, again I haven't said he doesn't know. I actually said he probably does. You asked a question does he have to know to do the investment?

So you need assets to get a buisness loan? Plus Meme where did he say the club would be putting up the full money as I read it the building of any hotel (which still hasn't been agreed) would be with a partner, ie Premier Inns.

Think some people need to learn to read before writing.

You would without doubt need assets to go against a big business loan. And banks are very carefull these days

And premier inn is a mile away so wouldnt be them and I've never read it's with a partner.

Infact if it is, ita pointless because the club would get very little from it.
