It was a great result, cack first half performance.
@Hizmo,
Hopefully its like the two horse race from last season with Man City playing the part of Arsenal....
....who finished 4th.
um... this might be unpopular, but young has been rubbish... well other than the 2 goals and the assist. tbh the whole team has been less than average. MOTM has to be De Gea for keeping us in it when spurs were laying siege.
oK Thanks for the thread Mr WKC, see ya next time! Bye now.
Tomatoes,
Don't say that, that blinkered little pea wn't be best pleased. We all care for what he thinks.
Now that the game finished. Who's going to deal with Bale?! Jones cant handle him.
Tomatos, let's put it this way, if Spurs had a player who was rubbish except scoring 2 goals and setting one up...we would have lost.
um... this might be unpopular, but young has been rubbish... well other than the 2 goals and the assist.
..........
I thought Ashley Young did an excellent job of helping Evra out today, which hasn't been mentioned.
evans and ferdinand were immense today.
Enraged Diablo
I saw a stubborn United team knock Spurs out of the title race by winning 3-1 at Tottenham's own ground, despite being far from their best. It's called character, and comes from developing a winning habit and culture at the club. I also saw why our players are some of the best in the league no matter what you say because they only need the odd chance and they take it, unlike Spurs.
You saw a performance that in your own words warrants 8 of the side being shot for how bad it was. Young was terrible according to you, despite getting 2 goals and MOTM.
All about opinions I guess, but yours is wrong, and you show the side no support, particularly during the game.
A few have mentioned Spurs could never press the way they did for 90 mins, they really did a good job and didn't give us an inch...it was just a case of holding on until they tired which thankfully we did. They didn't have a huge amount of chances.
I'let you young hooligans fight and scream insults at each other ...have fun... I'M OUTTA HERE >> GONZO!

lol... peas can see it, he banned me.
young did precious little today, he lost the ball twice in our half, refused to even run at any defender. he just looked average.
i am a fan of his game, and i know he can do better, but todays game he was just there. his set piece was fantastic though.
Guess the Crowd with 5 minutes to go. The winner will be excused attendance at W.H.L. for the remainder of the Season.
PS I wont be upset by whatever tomatoes said Diablo, because I cant see what he's written.
Like you and CP he continuously slates our players presumably as a wind up, so I filtered him, as I did CP. Tomatoes is a villa fan anyway, so at least that explains his dislike of our players. What's your excuse?

lol... you can put it that way. i say if De gea wasnt at his best reflexwise, we would have lost... or since its spurs, drawn.
this was a smash and grab, plain and simple. trying to spin it any other way well its a bit foolhardy.
I think Souness just copied my opinions on Evans word for word!!

You saw stubborn, I saw one that was very fortunate and one that should be thankful to De Gea in particular along with Evans and Ferdy.
The performance in final assessment was sporadic but clearly one sufficient to score three and secure the points.
My point about Jones, in hindsight, may be seen as harsh but given how utd were penned down and how he was missing tackles or foolishly over committing himself my derision towards him was deserved. I could've chosen anyone.
What I expect from Jones is the basics of defending. Nothing else. He gets found out more often than not which frustrates me and hence why I stated I was "going off him". I also countered that point by stating if and big if he manages to be consistent as a footballer, let along a defender, then I'll be the first to commend him and admit the errors of my ways.
In the meantime I have not ridiculed our players in the same manner as CP to be classed on par with that poster or worse still a WUM. I have been posting on here for some time and many who care would tell you I am a sensible poster, by and large. Every now and again when confronted by posters like you I get carried away - lol.
Well anyway, matter is over. I'll like to agree to disagree with you and move on.
