Sandy. I will continue to support Redknapp but even his most avid fan must be questioning some of his tactics. He left it until the 78th minute to bring on Defoe !!!! When be brings him on look what happened but by then we were 3 down. Bring him on at 2 0 at 60 mins !!!!'

Yeah but everyones calling for Defoe now, if he had played Defoe and we had lost we'd be saying where the hell was Saha.

“I am going for a 3-0 win on Sunday at the Emirates.”

“Which game will be most one-sided on Sunday – Liverpool v Cardiff Carling Cup final or Spurs v Arsenal North London v South London?”

“…still healthy lead of seven points.”

“Is anybody missing our 10 point gap? It’s only been six days, but I cannot wait to get it back on Sunday.”

And now:

“but we are still 3rd, four points in front of our nearest rivals.”

Spurs copying the Arsenal February/March collapse

Fine! I think it all depends to the next few performances from Tottenham. What is the next 4 fixtures?

I think mentally going from a 10 point gap to 4 in a matter of a week will definitely effect the players and maybe the manager. They've rarely been in such lofty positions and therefore haven't the experience of holding on too the positions.

You should still be fine. But lose or draw a few more and i reckon you'll lost the plot.

To be perfectly honest I would not mind Defoe starting, especially at home. I assumed when Saha was bought in it was just for cover, but Harry seems to like to start him, fair play he has scored 3 goals, but his arrival does seem to be coinciding with possibly our worse form of the season.

Still I still trust Harry to see us through, need to be positive. I am not as peee....d off as last week`s defeat with Arsenal, we gifted United their goals, but put in a pretty good performance nonethess. I think we just need a change of luck.

"What is the next 4 fixtures?"

Everton A, Stoke H, Chelsky A.

And then we are into 'phase 3' (final 8 games, NONE against our top 4 rivals, potentially all against bottom-half teams) .

So your good at copying and pasting.

Notice you did not paste my prediction of Arsenal being out of all competitions by end February. Your pretty selective aren`t you.

"Spurs copying the Arsenal February/March collapse"

We can run them concurrently this season.

Still bet yours will (as always) be the most spectacular (you even put in 2 months of "pre-season" training this year) .

Sandy, you speak so much dross that I couldn't possibly go through all of your articles

I would sooner be hanging on by finger tips from the top of Mount Everest than be in your position in the CL.

Yes but fail to pick up maximum points in those three and/or see the gap reduced will surely the pressure is on, even with lower level teams.

Yeah, but take away Peterbaey, and the average quality of articles goes up a million-fold.

We are going to win the Champions League

We played well, the stats show we played well... and any other team would have got battered,.

United are something else and can grind out results! lets not get down by this result, we did ourselves proud, United were just better than us! and we played really well

Serial :

The target I have set Spurs this season is 76 pts.
And divided the season into phases.
We are currently in the worst part (phase 2) that ends with Chelsky.

My exit target for that phase is 60 pts.
We are currently only 1 pt behind schedule (despite who we have had to play) .

Feel free to further discuss this after the Chelsky game.

Its been a very tricky run of games also...
Next week is no walk over away at Everton and now a very important game.

Our 10 game run in is not to bad at all. Only away at Chelsea looks tricky, and they are in disarray at the mo.

Its always disappointing to lose, but we would have taken this position at the start of the season so lets stay positive.

I agree, the only possible disapointment is that are important players like Bale, Van der Vaart seem to be missing all our important games. That is just typical.

Bale been ill yesterday summed up the luck in the last few weeks.... Ever since the shocking day at Stoke I feel we have been unlucky.
Ade had a goal ruled out at Wolves wrongly... I am sure there are a few more.

We had some luck early season. The win at Fulham comes to mind where we should have lost about 5 nil.

But we are due a slice of good fortune and I seriously hope we get it in the next few weeks.
